I feel like this video and this game are about three things: Facing an uncertain future, finding beauty in the menial, and crowd dynamics. The comments are all a bunch of peers pressuring each other into describing this game in two simple words.

That seems to be part of it. I'd also say that it was trying to show that when you break a trend, you set a new trend that gets followed, and trends either keep changing, or come back around to a slightly different version of what once was.
