I have anemia and get blood tests quite a lot. It’s really not bad, it doesn’t hurt, you don’t have to stare at the needle. Just think about something else for a very few seconds then it will be over and they’ll let you go. GLL :)

MY DRAMA: i dunno if this even counts as drama, but since i was 7 i’ve been living in a whole new country (i used to live in boston usa) because of some personal stupid ass reasons, it’s a rural place and i’ve noticed that whenever i go to city’s i feel much more happier and in a much better mood. however, i have a difficult relationship with my parents, they’re manipulators, and my dads a neglectful fuck. they don’t care about my feeling and/or emotions, and make fun of me (mostly my mother, dad doesn’t give a shit) because i have anxiety. i hate it here yet i obviously have no option to leaving (considering my dad said that if i didn’t change my attitude, aka anxiety and stuff that i’d never go back to boston, and i’ve gone twice) so i dunno what to do. do you have any advice that you could give me?

MORE TO THE STORY So this kid let’s call him nick. So, nick asked a question to my friend that is Africa American and nick got offended bye my friends question. Which nick’s question was about doing something naughty to HIS GIRLFRIEND OR LET A OTHER GIRL SIT ON MY FRIEND! Like what, but anyway then Nick threatened my friend so my friend rightfully so talked behind his back. But the thing is this nick kid was built like a twig. Then he got even more mad that my friend was talking behind his back so he called him the n-word repeatedly. So, my friend threw him against the lockers like he was nothing and started to punch nick on the ground. But then nick’s girlfriend snitched and my friend went to juvie. Then they ran away. 😐

Treat yourself right after your blood test with good food or make plans with friends at a place you like! This will hopefully give you something to look forward to! Also you can still drink water when fasting for blood tests, so drink plenty of water beforehand! And bring a water bottle to hydrate yourself right afterwards and have a friend come with you to the blood test lab! I know this was a lot, but you will get through this!! And I hope you feel better soon!!!

Also, I have a blood test next week and I used to be so scared until one day I guess I postponed so many blood test appointments from different doctors and had to get my blood drawn 4 times in the same day, 🥳☹️ I felt like I had grown some kind of new gene or sum because I could've broke the arm of a victorian child that day and now I love having my blood drawn, which may be because I am touch deprived and anything that touches me is a blessing at this point.
