Here's my take, even if TikTok were to get banned, I feel like there would be a new app created that does the SAME THING. The whole reason TikTok might be getting banned is cause it's run by a Chinese company and the Congress "Doesn't want their and our information selled and taken." (Correct me if I'm wrong on that). But if there is a new app created that does the same thing BUT is run by an American company, the Congress/government won't care. They won't care about the toxicity and all the idiotic trends going on. And considering how big it is, people will do anything to get that clout back... (Sorry for my little rant hehe...)

Tiktok was such a good wholesome community where it felt originaol and somewhat really local, like everybody knew about most tiktokers and it was generally a really good place to be, before the pandemic and after. Now, I honestly think it's not that more interesting anymore, or even useful, practical, and I normally leave after hearing some bad news, some necessary BAD drama or just anything bad. Today I just got myself a flip phone, that I'm going to use as a main device and my smartphone as a camera phone but otherwise the Flip phone will be mained. The thing is that I physically cannot use social media on that phone since it's so slow, but you gotta do what you gotta do to stay off social media, or really limit it.

DRAMA so I have this friend who I’ve been friends with for a little while now but last summer we were on ft and her sister started talking to me and then she says you must be sad having a family who’s not Christian (my family is Mormon) I told her that Mormon are Christian , and she just rolls her eyes and gives the phone back to my friend my friend then gets off the phone I text her telling her that Mormons are Christian and that it was extremely wrong for her sister to say that they aren’t (I had already had problems with people telling me that my parents were going to hell for being Mormon) she then blocks me, about a week later she unblocks me and says “hey I don’t want religion getting in between us being friends” I reply saying me either. After that we weren’t really close and hardly talked anymore, about a week ago she texts me saying “Hey, I just wanted to say that you’re loved and even though we’re not friends anymore I just want to say if you ever feel unloved, unappreciated, or depressed I am here for you. Always.” I was confused because I thought we were still friends and message her back saying “I thought we were still friends, are you ok?” I thought she was about to commit s*icide, turns out she almost did luckily her parents got her in a better state of mind. I really don’t know what to do I almost feel as if it’s my fault.

*DRAMA* so this was in november when my friends kicked me out of the table and i left bc i was being ignored. i got yelled at while ppl cheered her on :) then i said smthn during drama club abt her bc she was being rude and she found out. i apologized even though she didnt apologize for yelling at me. then another gal mouth the words “f u” but like full on out and then asked if we could talk. my friend told me that they told her that i was body shaming and shipping 2 of those gals together. then another gal told my other friend the same thing. i went to guidance and had a little talk with her and they haven’t bothered me since :) I SEE THEM EVERYWHERE THHOUGHHHHH

DRAMA. so I had this friend from the 4th grade, and we constantly fought (meaning she gave me the silent treatment.) Whenever she got mad it would be about a month or two after the small incident happened. So about 2 years later of on and off fighting and we were on the opposite sides of the school now so we never communicated. We still sometimes said hi and then she started giving me the silent treatment, like for about 8 months, and then one day one of her friends came up to me and said "hey Kaiya wants to talk" I just told her about "if she wants to talk to me then maybe she would tell me herself." Then a week later I sent her a word document on how i felt about how I felt. (It sounds stupid) Surprisingly she contacted me and told her side of the story (though I knew it was fake) I then accepted her apology and then I never spoke to her since. it's been about 2 or 3 years.

I'm so glad TikTok is getting banned it was going to be the human extinction.

Honestly at this point I want TikTok to get banned. It’s harsh for me to say because I post videos on TikTok and have some of a following I don’t have on other platforms, but people are just so obsessed. None of them have any ambition anymore. All this time scrolling on TikTok, you could be doing something productive or at least wear headphones!! The only way these people interact are by showing me stupid TikTok videos every second of the day. I don’t know, maybe I don’t have a sense of humour. Sorry for the rant but I’m just so beyond annoyed.

Drama This trans guy has been bullying me for 2 weeks already and they’ve been told to stop by the principals 4 times and they haven’t. They called me fat and ugly and smelly and they put notes in my backpack calling me those words and they stole my perfume. They’ve gotten their friends to join in and I got so angry I lashed out and called them a very mean word I shouldn’t have used and now my friends won’t talk to me. Idk what to do, the school isn’t doing anything and I can’t really ignore it, and I don’t want to do anything to get in trouble. Any support or advice helps it’s really destroying my mental health

tiktok should be banned like 100% but the thing is, if its banned then people will migrate to youtube shorts or some other app, making it toxic. still hyped for when it'll get banned though at least youtube shorts doesn't make me feel miserable when i use it and youtube will get more people to watch long form so thats a plus (my state voted no for it getting banned aaaaaaa)

So if I were to say some of my drama it just fells like my life crumbling around me my guardian aka my aunt is a lot more grumpy and speaks to me in a really grumpy tone and my school is kinda harsh at times since I don’t wanna go to deep into it

Tiktok is helping multiple palestinian families and just struggling people get money, if you're on the right side of tiktok, information about the palestine genocide, Palestinian families w go fund mes you can donate to, people js generally struggling on your fyp that u can donate to. Even if you dont donate, js watching the video and boosting it by commenting liking etc etc will make it get on more peoples fyp who can.

But anyways my second relationship out of the two ended because I got cheated on, but it's really strange cause I literally laughed at my ex as they were manically texting me a breakup out of grief and guilt for what they did and so I went into my friend group's group chat and the message went a bit like this: "hey gurliepops! soo me and (ex's name) are overrrr cause they cheated with someone named ash tray at a summer camp #girlboss #aesthetic!!!" and everyone started freaking out and I was just laughing out of panic and numbness behind my phone screen :)

okay sorry that its long I got some drama and it's motherfkin crazy and OVER DRAMATIC . So I had a best friend obviously and she just randomly was started to just be...Off and lemme just say like 1-2 months before my other friend got with MY EX girlfriend and I was pretty upset bcuz I have a right to be when my FRIEND gets with MY EX.
