Brass is a dealbreaker for me when shopping for watches. I've had some before, and the plating does wear away, and the brass starts getting pitted and gives off a greenish oxide. Also it dents much more easily than steel.

My mom has the white dial ladies version for about 8 years. She wears it every time she goes somewhere. The plating is still there, lots of wear scratches, yet the only part of the watch where you can see the brass is under the case. The problem there was a scratch caused by removing the back case. So yes, the plating is not nice, the biggest problem on this watch not being the fact that it wears (it doesn't) but the mirror finishing which gives it a cheap bling look.

Got this watch for $35..cant hate it.

Agree this watch is junk. Hate chrome plated brass watches and folded link(?) bracelets. Unacceptable in 2023. Casio Sapphire dress watch is cheaper, better specs and looks nice than this

Bruh its a 50 to 100 dollar watch, just keep it
