as a mountain man from the mountains of kentucky can i make a suggestion for you get you some olive green spray paint or tan spray paint and spray paint the elbow for your pipe green or a tan spray paint that way it can be camouflaged because if you ever have to head there in the woods you don't want someone to be able to see it and also for your and the smoke from your stove pipe i would lower that take it out the window digging a trench and put some drainage pipe in the ground and put the stove pipe in there and seal around the the circle part of the drainage pipe that way nothing no smoke can get out and then bury it and that way you're stove pipe is secured and nobody will ever be able to find the smoke and if it does come up through the dirt it'll look just like fog nobody will ever know what is under there

For what it’s worth, an easy way to clean the burned on soot on the inside of your stove window is with a paste made from wood ash & a little water. Scrub the inside of the window, when the stove is cold, with a cloth or paper towel dipped in the wood ash paste. Wipe clean with another clean cloth or paper towel. Your house is looking Great!

Shrubs planted would hide stove pipe. Evergreens, stay green year round. I dug up baby pines & planted them. You're so talented! ❤

I am an old man now but enjoying seeing you build your underground house very much. I used to build forts in trees when I was a kid..... and underground too . What memories this brings back ! I end up with two questions nagging me. Are the screws you use Torx or Philips..... and why didnt you " spray foam " all your little joints and cracks ? ( Probably because moss is cheaper and more abundant ) So cool to watch you dress up each aspect of the place..... edging in clean-cut wood. Oh yeah...... How much lumber did you have cut ? (The one thing I would have started with early on is a bathroom. A little more pipe...... a large plastic barrel for septic tank... a little gravel... Water from collected rain...hhmmmmm... ) Wish I could help build it ! LOL Just a fantastic job Alex.! I,m hooked ! I,m going to follow you now !

You guy's are an inspiration and amazing. About water. Build a rain and snow catcher closer to the cabin. Have a clean shovel only to shovel the clean snow from the top and add to the rain and snow catcher. So when weather is bad you don't have to go far and it's better to stay away from the lake when it's frozen. You can build a simple shower. Look for camping shower spray's. Most have a container attached to a shower spray. Or on a white bucket add boiling water and cold water until you are ok with the water temperature, use a plastic cup to poor water on yourself. For the bottom of the shower you can buy an inflatable or portable tub. Some come with a hose. Or a kids swimming pool. Then hang a curtain from the top. Love how you cook too.

You need to tint the two windows and vinyl wrap or paint the frame. Also you need to camo the two long logs in front beacause if your goal is to be stealth bunker style thats not good. Yes thats looking nice but its risky to be found be people like your last dugout build. And I know you hated that moment. Iam amazed by the energy you put into that project and I truly belive it will be someting really nice thats why I belive it should be camo the more you can.
