Doth mine eyes deceive me, or hath a Terran player entered the chat? 😆 Seriously, though, even though I myself play Terran, I'm not a fan of spectating pros being stubborn block-heads or watching them beat their faces into pulp on plodding turtles. With Pig casting, I'd probably have watched that second match to the end and wished I hadn't.

I love Meo... I was so happy when my team was able to pick him up. He's such a fun player and a super nice guy too.

Meo is proof that you can win a lot of games of Starcraft only using half the units and half those units abilities ...

Meomaika plays like a terran who cued up zerg by mistake and just went with it

In my nonprofessional analysis, a greater spire anytime in the mid to late game would have been checkmate to jump on the bc's then immediately morph broods for the tanks.

I completely forgot that Vipers don't need a Spire (and even now I don't remember ever knowing about it). All these years of watching pro games I just assumed that all flying units besides Overlords (and possibly campaign units) need it. I played mostly the campaign and never made Vipers because they require so much APM and don't even attack.

Vipers actually need a spire in HOTS, because they are a muta Evolution, but in ladder they just need a hive. And i think an infeststion pit but you need that for a hive.

I don't think mass Hydra was the problem in this particular game, and IIRC, Pig said the addition of a few Corruptors to counter the BC's could've gained Meo the win. I've also seen a number of pros get a lot of momentum and even outright wins with surprise Hydra rushes, and Meo often wins with mass Hydra when his opponents saw it coming. However, it's certainly not one of Zerg's stronger unit comps, and for everyone that _isn't_ Meo, failing to transition rapidly to something else does seem like a guaranteed throw.

Omg I really wish vipers had coop stun upgrade. It's useless for anything except BCs. even 2 sec stun would be huge making hydra viper viable vs tank bc mech. as it is for now, yet another zerg owned by BCs. Sad to see.

I would say Pig is an overrated caster but that would imply he has ever been rated well by anyone with a brain. The only thing he has going for him is the salt mines and thats just because someone else does not do it.
