Yeah that vendor is a swindler. His websites are cringe clickbait and pop-ups. It's a pure rip-off, but it can only happen if the buyer breaks the Golden Paydirt Rule: Guaranteed amounts Only!!! (Miners Depot would be the only exception to this rule that I know of.) PS: We are loving the re-releases

Hey Shane, I am glad that you replayed this video. I have taken what I have learned from watching your videos. I haven't purchased any pay dirt's since I purchased your paydirt. I have been going to my creeks and rivers that are a couple of hours ride to collect samples to pan at home as our state is pan and shovel only. I collect my samples with a classifier, bucket and shovel. I haven't found anything big but still searching for that special place. Keep up the good work and producing informative videos. Happy hunting and stay safe. Till the next video.

The minute I saw those bags I knew that it was a scam! I mean, I grew up in a big gold region in Australia, and we'd go panning all the time. Also, I'm a mother (and grandmother) and I know sandpit sand anywhere! And even then, it still looked cleaner than when you buy it from Bunnings! (Our version of Home Depot). It actually looked like that paydirt dodgy mob had actually gone through it, washed and dried it,, then re-packaged it! Way too clean! I'm so glad that there's good people out there like yourself that are calling these thieves out! Your a good egg there Shane!! I hope to see some more of your videos. I really like the yard sale jewellery hunting ones. 😎🎸💰🇭🇲

I got lucky when young and collected all kinds of tarnished and black sliver jewelry when I was in my 20s at yard sales and store close out. I got about 10 pair of solid silver charm earrings of lions/elephants/zebras and toucans. I haven't weighed them but they were. .10cents a pair. When the prices of silver sky rocketed my dingy little silver collection all of a sudden was worth a lot. I still have most of it somewhere stashed away. Lots of those ugly silver spoon handle rings and bracelets that are heavy and silver.

I just went out to quartzville creek last Sunday. First time I panned. I was a little nervous about going out on my own. I'm like 5' 3" & a single woman. Going to unknown places with no reception is a little nerve racking. But I had a great time to just be by myself in nature & wished I had discovered this at the beginning of sunny season. I'm going to mollala tomorrow. This time with some people who go regularly. I have one day a week to myself & I can see this as being amazing for my stress levels. Single mom, work& school. It definitely is a lot. I'm glad that you found something for your health. That's amazing

Hey, Shane. On video number 12, your point was well taken. There is an unmentioned silver lining, though…I alway obsess about missing gold so usually pan it two or three times. Your comments about stratification putting the gold at the bottom and then doing it so well really set my mind to rest. Masterful demo! PS: I’m not yet so proficient, so will probably repan whenever I don’t find amounts of gold the equal or exceed the guaranteed minimum. You emphasized buying only when a minimum is guaranteed, paying close attention to wording, and repanning abundantly clear in episode 78 when panning three times over recovered only $0.37 in gold! Episode 78 was so insightful (as are so many other episodes), that I decided to switch from subscriber to patron. As always, I’m impressed with the quality of your work. M.Dressel

This is off topic but it reminded me of something that happened about 5 years ago. I was buying random cheapo $5- $20 bags of paydirt off eBay from private sellers and it mostly came in sandwich baggies lol. Anyway I actually ordered a bag from Israel for under $20 dollars total including shipping, it took like 3 weeks to arrive and it had a bunch of cool foreign stamps on the envelope. But it was absolutely loaded with gold! It had something like .75 grams in it and it was all locked up in these rock hard dirt clods that took some work to get broken down and stratified. It was wild, I never saw the seller post anymore pay dirt afterwards. I've often wondered what the deal was with that. At the time gold was around $50 a gram so I more than doubled my money on that bag. I've never had anything close to that happen with pay dirt since and don't expect to either.

  • @msaxvettelvr1

Sadly, I purchased a couple bags of their paydirt a couple years ago. Out of the 3 bags of their dirt, I had about .25 grams! It was fun to pan but not worth the effort overall.

When you remove the black sands, why don't you run the magnet over first at distance, dump the magnetics and then go into the paydirt for a 2nd go? You always check what you've collected and go straight in and I presume already having black sands on the magnet it can only help to trap more non black sand material

Ohh and on this bags subject , I have a hunch that motherlode mining is same company just changed name and packaging but have alot of similarities, the mtn background logo on this motherlode mining is same goldnpay use on some of bags , their is so much in common between the 2 in advertisement its high possibility . I have 5 jars expected this week in bundle orders they offer .if I get similar results in gonna call theme out on trying to look different.

I get this question all the time and that's why I started kleshgold.com. You are guaranteed a minimum amount of gold which prevents any chance of getting ripped off. You can actually go to the website and see the value of the gold before you buy it, and the best part is you will always get more than that in every bag (plus a chance at a bonus bag with a lot of extra gold). There are also a bunch of different difficulty levels so you can pick and choose depending on your skill level.

With the play sand and the massive amount of gold they gave you in a $35 bag this was quite obvious to be fair. Especially considering they were the ones who reached out and sent it for free in return for advertisement. I'm shocked the original vid of this ever even got as far as the editing stage, when the scam was so blatant. Even when you pulled that nugget out I was in shock that you were so casual about it being in such a cheap bag of paydirt. Glad you saw the mistake and corrected your error once you realised though, takes a real man to admit when he was wrong and to help teach others not to make the mistake.

What i was thinking you could do if this were to ever happen again, is to accept it. then get your third party to buy another bag from them as to see the differences in the amount of gold they have. It would tell if the vendor were being honest or not.

But I also wanted to know if you ever heard of the company and or channel AuAlchemist I pretty much started the channel Tennessee walkers prospecting off of their products I have spent almost $150 and have gotten tons of stuff but I'm not sure of the value yet. But I have made a few videos and shorts tagging them showing the coins stones and gifts they send out in almost every bag. But another reason I like them is because the video they have up which I believe is I'm Colorado dude they are in a bus sized Boulder yes inside this thing has a hole in it and it's I swear to GOT 6 men deep! And that's crazy but the send you toms of tumbled stones and stuff it's fun for the family if your not all about the gold
