Believe it or not, you have been a giant part of inspiration and showing me how to gold pan as a hobby now. I have been watching you for probably 1 and a half years now, and your videos have always been a source for me to calm down. I just wanted to say thank you because you have changed my perspective on a lot of stuff. Keep up the good work! 😄👍

That is awesome!
Speaking for myself i really enjoy the extended versions.very informative & you have a great soothing voice 👍🙂
Great video Klesh. I love these old videos. They really showcase how far your skills have come over the years. It must have really sped up the process when you started using the spray bottle to wash out the bottom of the pans during your panning. Watching you pan back the garnets was almost cathartic as it was slow and methodical. Cheers!
Did we ever find out the mystery possible metal/precious metal was klesh? Long time follower I just don’t comment much. But I like the videos at least lol. Shout out to the 42%!

Theses are some of my favorite videos of yours man. Lovin 'em
Soo cool! ❤ I love what you do and have had a ton of fun gold panning with your help! Thanks so much! 😎
The metallic rocks...I'd try to see if it was lead...lead is malleable ...hit it with a hammer and see if it fractures apart or if it stays together and flattens.
Keep up the good work brother absolutely love these videos on the extended one😊
The garnets can be inlayed in rings and other jewelry and possibly guitars they are pretty hard and usually have to be sanded using a diamond bit on a dremel
Thanks, Im enjoying these videos. Im curious when you start telling about guaranteed gold amounts. Of all the things Ive learned from you, that was like the biggest one as far as avoiding rip-offs.
@Klesh

Yep. Even back then, I was getting ripped off...that's when I started warning people AND started my own paydirt company to combat the rip-offs.
I have been watching your videos for about 2 years. I found your vids from watching Chris at Vo-gus. He puts one of your guitar picks in the pan next to hiss gold for size. Watching you helped me through cancer surgery and chemo. Thank you!

Looking forward to the new videos. 👍🏻
Good video.
Thanks for the video. Very insructional.
Silver stuff might be Galena
We've never seen a video posted "5 seconds ago." First! Hello Klesh!
i think the best part of longer videos is hearing your thoughts as you go through the process, i have about 3lbs of fine sand to process and i noticed very small red garnets, is red the only color that they come in, these garnets may be 2mm, i am also finding a lot of silver leaf
@Emeraldwitch30

Garnets can come in green too and are worth more than diamonds because it's rare. I'm a January baby and garnet is the birthstone I also love green gemstones so imagine my surprise when I heard of them. Only to be disappointed because the cost is way way to high for this gal! Lol I have a couple big natural garnets that have a reddish/purple color when the light goes through them.
So is this the episode that the "Lets take a look at it in the pan" running gag was born? These uncut versions are awesome 🤘😎🤘

I don’t know if you’ve watched any of Dan Hurd’s videos but he’s found some pretty crazy garnet loaded beaches probably close to where this pay dirt came out of.

I don't really watch prospecting content , but I've made a few videos with Dan on a visit to his gold claims in Canada 🇨🇦
This was a long one but cool.
I love your videos and Paydirt. I recently got over a gram of gold in a gold strike Paydirt of yours.

Nice 👍 yeah all bags will have over the guaranteed minimum amount of gold
I had a great bag from them!
I just got a big bag of paydirt that looks similar to this stuff from an ore operation who works with gold silver platinum or an i got a large amount of similar looking chunks of what looks like silver and some looks like platinum to me. Happy panning!💯🙏😁
If you really need to pan at the river just pan into another submerged pan and take all of the material home for the accurate clean out. Great video!
Loving the old vids
I’ve seen more garnet in my life than I care to admit. Ran an abrasive waterjet for years.
Thanks to you I'm a new to the panning life. Wondering what the gold colored, foil- like, material might be? Got it from gold bay and was pleased with the amount of gold, but there was a bunch of this light gold looking material.
Is this the first.. "Let's take a look at it in the pan? -> Cool! " ... ? lol very NICE

Probably finding mercury the first time
That kinda looked like a galena
First "let's look it at in a pan" !!🎉
You said that paydirt was from B.C.. If I remember right I watched some of Dan Hurd's videos and the particular river area he was panning had alot of garnet. I don't remember if he told how he seperated the gold and garnet. He may have done the same as you, but off camera. Thanks again for the videos.

Yeah, I've been up to BC with Dan on a few of his claims. We found some garnet for sure.
Finally lol!!! Let’s take a look at it in the pan.
Still waiting on that klesh and Steve 1989 collaboration. Let’s get this out on to a tray NICE……

What were those silver rocks?
2 questions. 1. Do you make acoustic guitars? 2. And if so would you consider inside of a mother of pearl inlay make a gold and epoxy inlay?
@Klesh

I have done both yes
I think it’s mercury gold amalgamation. Silver tarnishes, so would not be shiny. However, silver will also form an amalgamation with silver.
@marshalldressel9615

That should be silver amalgamation with mercury. My dentist used to amalgam at quarts with silver and give them to me. You won’t see that in today’s world,

Ive seen you pan in the sink a few times. How many time have you had to snake the drain lol. But the farnets that are not able to be made into jewelry. Deff can do some cool things with epoxy

I have little glass vials of gemstones that were gifts from friends and relatives that know im a rock hound and I love them displayed on my rock shelf I bet if he put them in little vials he could sell them as samples of what they look like. Or add it to his more challenging paydirt for fun
No thumbs up for videos already watched
Could you not use the garnets in a resin setting design with lighting, I myself think it would be cool.

Is there a way to see how much gold is in a gold chain if so I have one I'm pretty sure is gold plated says 18k but I did an Amazon gold test kit and it only came up at maybe 12k

Were you using the world's smallest flashlight to do this video??😎
Could it be aluminum? Pummeled and pounded by the rocks maybe
