I really like your videos. Dude, no one can accuse you of not making the effort. Pretty cool. You'll be rippin it by spring for sure. Unfortunately, in golf the journey never ends. It's doesn't stop. Once you get the speed you want it will be the next thing, chipping, putting, etc. I hope you really enjoy the journey. I will say for sure, this is unique content, which is hard to do in this era. Good on you Mate!

Thank you brother! I really appreciate the kind words. I was actually thinking about this same thing yesterday! I think that’s why I love golf so much. It’s given me a craft to work at for the rest of my life. There’s nothing that I enjoy more than a twilight practice session or a quiet nine holes on my own. Golf quite literally changed my life!

@@ErndogGolf I started playing at a young age. Recently (a few years ago) decided to go low handicap. It was an effort. Got results but found it leaves just as fast if not on top of it daily/weekly. Decided I'm fine being between a 7-10 handicap. I can eagle, birdie....triple any given hole. What I do like though is that if I know I have a real game coming up, within a week, with some effort, I can definitely get to 7 or below for that game. I can "find" my groove at any time but can't maintain it so I'm fine playing in the middle of that range.

@@douglas2835 wow that’s really awesome insight. Also, pretty sweet for the sake of handicapped games! If you’re able to get your game dialed and you’re playing better than your handicap, that’s a deadly combination!

Man, that’s a tough workout to start with! I’m curious what your weekly plan looks like with golf (practice / rounds), swing speed training and fitness training. Care to share or maybe do a video about that as you get more in the groove?

Michael! Dude, right now it is just whenever I can do any of the above. Rounds of golf take priority since I’m being limited by daylight and decent weather. Speed training and working out I can do more often, but still haven’t quite gotten into a groove. I’ve barely been practicing either! I wish I had a home simulator!!

Yeah, adding in strength work is tough with an already busy schedule. I just got back to doing it and am trying for twice per week which I think is the minimum for gains. But at my age I realize it is necessary for durability and to maintain muscle mass. Hang in there with it all, Ernie!

Excellent, though it looks exhausting! Coincidentally, a few minutes ago I purchased a swing speed trainer, so this couldn't be more timely.

I'm excited to see what effect this has on your swing! If you're right below 106 with minimal gym work, I'd imagine it workouts like that have to be good for at least another 5+mph.

My on course club head speed is around 98mph, and I want to get closer to 106mph! Right now in a speed session I max out at 106, so I’d like to get that number above 110!
