its really hard to explain how lost everything felt and how bummed the chat was until the very last second. Pia's commentating was so hype and the chat exploded, it was like winning the world cup

Yes! It really was edge-of-your-seat entertainment! Especially a few times when Anna's clock ticked down to 2 seconds. Amazing, well done! :-)

for real the stream was insane
What a game it was. Just before blunder from opponent, Pia said, "We have little bit of hope. We must keep on hoping. We must always keep on having hope." and the rest you know. Now it's time to start eating vegetables 😂. (Kikiriki is missing today😂)
Pia's commentary was legendary.

I didn't realize Pia could get so excited, she's usually so calm. Nice to see happy people

Ignore that obvious scam
I can still hear Pia's "ROOK TO F1! WE MUST GO ROOK TO F1!" :D
You were lucky that your opponent blundered at the end, but after you found the Rxd7 idea he was lucky not to lose. Your mum’s excitement when you played that move was wonderful to see!

I enjoy your conversational explanation of your games. You get so excited and take us along on your adventures.
Anna took a page out of Eric Rosen's book "Never Resign : my 60 memorable stalemates " and Botez gambit to fashion a memorable game of her own . 😂

I believe it was Yasser that once said during commentary that he learned if you face a choice of where to place your king (Kh2 or Kh1), then it’s almost always better to place it on the opposite color square of where the queen currently sits, wherever it may be. Just reaffirms that Kh1 was indeed a better choice.
seeing Pia's reaction to c3 was the most excited i've ever been watching a chess game, ever
"...I promise to eat my vegetables!" OMG, I howled at this! Good luck tomorrow Anna.

Thank you for sharing your mom's streaming link last episode. She really gives great insights just like you are nice about sharing your thoughts and how you played.
Your Moms commentary was AMAZING, the excitement when your opponent pushed the pawn to force the draw - Everyone was so happy! Good luck for remainder of tournament
Loving this series, has been so fun seeing what your experience is like at a tournament.
That was an insane game anna 😅 kept me up to 1am, enjoyed it a lot, you weren't lucky, you were persistent 👍🏻 and it paid off. Looking forward to tonights game, stay safe 💜
The hallmark of the very best players is to pull these kinds of stalemate defenses on a regular basis. And the key to getting these draws is to play on until you are absolutely sure your opponent will not make a mistake in the end game. Which usually means playing until the most simple of positions.
Great experience for you! You’re only getting better ! GL!!
I’ve been a ghost supporter for awhile now. You’re the only chess player I watch on YT. I’m a newbie in chess, however I’ve noticed you think too much because you’re too attach to winning rather than just playing. It frees you from expectation which allows you to follow your gut more often. I could see you on top like Magnus if you conquer “chip on your shoulder”. Rooting for you Anne!
I was watching on stream, but I gave up before the end because I was sad about how the game had gone. I'm glad you didn't do the same.
I've seen a lot of chess videos that were nowhere near as much fun as this one. Anna is a charmer.
Congrats Anna, It's so nice to join you on your chess journey! Good luck!
Never surrender, there is always a chance the opponent does pawn c3 and forces Anna to eat vegitables.

Amazing! The way you kept a cool head and recovered with an insane draw!
Love the way you are filming these!!
in the chat someone asked if there were any stalemate chances and i said "if he puts annas king in a position where there are no legal moves then she can sac her queen for stalemate, but thatll never happen bc thats literally the only thing he has to watch out for" and then i left for 5 minutes to go downstairs and when i came back i couldnt believe my eyes

Stay confident, Anna!! 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
Sometimes a win is actually a loss, and sometimes a loss is actually a...draw! YES! Way to save it at the end. Good for you, Anna. I loved your mom's incredible astonishment at the draw. She seemed amazed at first, then relieved, then happy for her daughter, and then,...I imagine she felt very proud. It is time for you to leave the temple, young grasshopper.
Anna, you have such a wonderful smile! Your enthusiasm is contagious. Thanks for making chess fun! And thanks to your Mom and Dad; they are brilliant and funny as well!
my fav episode of the tournament so far
Wonderful presentation of your game! Congrats!!💝
I started getting into chess about a month ago and love your channel ❤️ I had no idea that people studied and practiced so hard. I have a very long, steep road ahead, but your channel will keep me motivated. Thanks for posting 🙂

I saw the endgame this morning, I was so happy for your draw. great great vlog again !
Great going! Go for that WIM!
That was a great commentary!!

I'm new to chess and I love watching all your videos! Thanks from Vancouver Canada 💪
Good job Anna, way to hang in there!!!
Love your video's Anna!
Love your energy & positivity! Best chess ambassador around!
Anna is so wholesome, I think of her as a daughter or granddaughter - and her mum and dad are so lovely and so supportive. I really wish her well.

I love watching your videos!
Her opponent had a crush on her and gave the draw 😂
Great game Anna. You almost snatched defeat from the jaws of victory but got the draw! Thanks for posting.
Your mom's reaction reminds me of the football commentator when Norway beat England in a world cup qualifier. This was back in 1981, way before you were born but it is still remembered in England. "... your boys took one hell of a beating ...".
Hi Anna, you really put a spark in the game of chess. I enjoy watching you play, and your commentary.
This tournament along with your moms commentary has been amazing. Looking forward for the next games
Anna, thank you for sharing your experience, thoughts and your analysis or (bzw.) reflection. It really helps to improve my game. :) Thanks
Exciting game! Love Pia's reaction😄
It's fascinating how much excited you are about playing chess, I played a long time ago, I always had my board with me playing with friends and family but it became kinda boring after a while, especially when you don't meet stronger players to learn tricks from so I stopped.
Your positive attitude and energy is inspiring. I soon may get off the couch. 😂
Dear Anna , is so fresh to see your explainations on your games , you feel so happy keep going all the best jc from france
Addicted to your content!!!
Keep up the enthusiasm for playing chess, I happen to have a hobby of playing chess so I want to enter a chess tournament not yet. Anna Cramling, be enthusiastic and never give up in entering international chess tournaments. I hope that Anna will become the 1st champion in international chess.
Love Alejandro's spirit after spoiling that position. All smiles just like Anna!

He probably realized he had a losing position earlier, and was happy to pull it back to a draw.
Oh my god I watched this ALMOST til the end and was sure it was gonna be a loss, but then it ends like this.. crazy.
ANNA! What a great game! Never quit must be your motto. Keep following your instincts. I never heard Pia this excited. It was awesome!🔥 Thanks.
Menuda partida. Agotadora. Bienvenida a España de nuevo 🙂

You've gotta love her enthusiasm!!
CONGRATSS ANA!!!
🗽 I followed the first time on twitch the live stream… it was a thriller with Pia commenting the very long game. I think he knew, that he was close to a check mate and so he is also happy about the patt. This guy is really a gentleman! 👍👍 .
Very cool content, I’m loving it
It was so late and I was struggling to stay awake to see the end of the match, but then your mom got so hype that I shot up in my seat like I'd had ten Red Bulls.

Sometimes slow, long, or waiting move is in fact forced winning. Never forget to check some of them, if you are not see immediate wins.
Beautiful content with inovative ideas big love💕
Hope you can get your first IM norm soon. These games will make you stronger ... Kudos and all the best for round 5!
Great fighting spirit! Many players would have resigned much earlier. It's amazing how many chances there are for improvement at the 2000+ FIDE level. I'm always impressed by your after-game analysis. It's more than I've seen from GM players.
That was brilliant 👏
Thanks for sharing 🎉
Crazy game indeed!!!
You make chess so much more exciting!
That's so cool! And just follows from what I said in my last post...you just never know how you might win, lose or draw! Well done, Anna!
Nice play for the draw, amazing game.
Getting ready to watch game 5 on twitch. Her spoiler alert was a bit confusing as she was referring to her previous game before showing the game she did play. Hope your mother does not get as stressed out as she needs a break after yesterdays 5 hour long agony and ecstasy moments!
Hey Anna! i am enjoying these daily updates. And good to see that you also miss out on the best moves. And your mom going crazy was one the highlights of my day.

Sometimes a draw is magic. Who knew? Congrats, Anna. Good luck the rest of the tournament.
What an exhausting game. Congratulations Chess Princess.
Even 2000 elos make these mistakes.
Anna! Jag är 35 och har i hela livet älskat schack, dina videos är riktigt fina, trevliga och mysiga! Underbart när du är med i New York och trashtalkar 🤩😅👌
I loved watching your mom commenting the game. She's so good at analysing the variants. Even though I'm a far less good player, I know your pain when missing wining moves from playing in local championships. So, I suffered yesterday also. But I must say this was a instructive game.
