The most painful losses are when you see your opponent squirming and getting annoyed, but then they somehow beat you and you have to see their smug face at the end.

With engines nowadays, is there such a thing as doing your own way and hope your opponent blunder?
It's enlightening how you described your emotions here - actual GRIEF and then acceptance - And it can be even heartbreaking at times. It's nice to hear those feelings expressed because EVERY chess player does go through this!
You're playing strong players and you're doing a good job.

No matter what... I find this particular game delicious(win, lose or draw).
It's so relatable to have a great position, then lose it. Glad to hear you're not letting it get you down!
What an absolutely amazing start! You almost couldn't have had a better position - big congrats. Fun to watch the game for us viewers
Hearing you process the emotion out loud, explaining accepting over the board, was so meaningful. All the best!
You made the U.K. papers today Anna talking about dodgy geezers in Chess. Congrats !

Getting more and more good merch ideas...
I barely ever played chess, but I find all kinds strategy intriguing not just in chess but in other areas. I sense that Anna is uncomfortable or embarrassed to discuss her losses. If you're reading this Anna, I think the best things about your channel is the friendliness/warmth as well the integrity of your character which makes it far easier to digest the strategy. Once one gets to the peak of ones rating, losing becomes normal as one faces opponents who are one hundred points ahead of their peak so please don't be to hard on yourself. I stumbled and come to your channel to see your warm smiling face and hear about strategy. If I didn't care about the human traits of how you deliver the message, I would go to some grand masters channel, but I'm not, I'm here and I suspect many others are for the same reason. Your a good ambassador for the game regardless of your rating.
Anna is such a positive personality that it's always fun to follow her moves and explanations.
Anna, the description of your mindset talking about grief and emotions during the game was incredible. That's an aspect of the game I've never really thought about in such clear terms before. Thank you for sharing those thoughts, keep it up! Cheers

I enjoy watching your videos, Anna. You have such lovely energy, as do your parents. You're helping to improve my chess game, too. Thanks and keep up the great work! ✨️
At least you weren't so bad that your opponent fell asleep. 🤣
Great recap of a fascinating game. Really enjoyed your presentation and explanation. I know they were missed, but some great tactical shots you showed there which I wouldn't have seen in a million years let alone the few seconds you had to see them.
great recap Anna, your aggression early in the game was impressive. best of luck today!
I relate so much with what you said about grief in classical chess, and playing on to go through it in the game. Loved the way you put it, and I think a lot of people who play classical chess can agree
Interesante juego. Me alegra ver que has encontrado tu propio estilo
Brilliant game! We're all rooting for you Anna!
I really like your videos. You give a great description of the games and the thoughts that goes into the games. After watching the videos from you I got a totally new and better understanding of chess! Keep up the good work and good luck with upcoming games!

BUMMER... You are very humble. And a delight to learn from. Thank you.
Really nice explanation of all the moves, and all your emotions during the game!
I love your positive attitude!!!!!!! It's a pleasure to hear you relate life to chess. You are obviously a happy person, your parents look like happy people. Please continue to shine and share your hapiness with all of us!!!!!!!! xx
I love this tournament content. I hope you continue high level professional competitions.
Qué duro es el ajedrez... pero gran partida, Anna. ¡¡¡Ánimo para la siguiente!!
What a great replay of the game. Very emotional and true to reality.
Great game Anna, well played 👍
Bobby Fischer played Kd2 very often. It protects the king & confuses the opponent.
Keep up, Anna! I love your enthusiasm. I'm trying to improve my chess with your vids. Greetings from Colombia.
GG Anna! Live and learn yeah on to the next one. Good Luck!
c5 was a terrific move. Great presentation, it was really funny, when Anna acted out her opponent's emotions!

This should be mainstream television. She is a natural star.
Great recap. That Ne3 move was beautiful! Acceptance is a powerful experience !!!
I love that you have such a positive look on life!! Keep the good stuff coming.
I am cheering for you Anna. It is great that you make us part of your journey!
Thanks for the great commentary!
Time pressure! Gah!!! Brain goes out the window! Looking fwdz to the nex recap! Great upload Thx!!
Nice that you went back to chess competitions, it gives some great games and fun to see your state of mind
Anna cycled between: "i'm brilliant" to "i suck". But compared to me, you're a genius.

Well done, Anna You developed some incredible positions, and turned the dynamic of the game with with single.moves, but also took a step back and developed your positions. Impressive.
Both players had genius moments in this game. The reflection of chess representing grief and acceptance at times is very true. It's funny that such a little game can have such a big impact.
Great recap! I was sure you were going to win. As you said, you had so many materials advanced so far!
Great tactical and emotional breakdown. That bishop sac on the queen side was a super GM move, no doubt.
Great game! I love how animated she is going over these games.
Good Job! You played fantastically!
Really enjoying these games 💪🏻👍🏻
That was a great position! The clock is difficult to manage sometimes. I enjoyed your analysis of the game!
What a great start for this game ms Anna, you had a fantastic position indeed. Keep going, and do not stress so much during the game, think of your mom and her way of thinking, be confident. I think stress was your enemy this time, because your game was on point dear Anna. Less stress please, relax , find a place in your mind that gives you confidence. You where winning this game almost to the end. lets go Anna
The word is "posturing" :) Thanks for the recaps!!
Beautiful video again Anna and the game was good, you really could have wim it too
Fantastic play from both
Your grief/acceptance explanation is beautiful and makes us realise that chess is life indeed. Thanks for your enthousiasm, once again. Good luck, Ms. Cramling!
I love your enthusiasm!
That difference between "having a winning position" and "actually winning the game" is what those 300 points are made of.
Tactical Anna, no worries you was awesome, wish you all the best ✌
Nice job Anna!!
Wonderfully entertaining game !!
You did great Anna he was almost a greatmaster Anna you are having a nice tournament and playing really well
Love your enthusiasm.
I knew burning so much time in the beginning was going to come back to bite you. You played so well it’s a shame but a good lesson to learn.
