Did I read it correctly, only 1 XLR? For on-the-go and battery powered that is great. But in a studio where you have access to mains. I would go for some thing else. Still the battery powered aspect is pretty good!

Absolutely. I had to grab a second one, which is actually my third but I gave one to my nephew. Love the functionality
One review about it says that with condenser mics with phantom power it’s likely to have noise.

What kind of noise floor does it have? I have a slightly older / similar Zoom portable interface, whose main problem is it is it has a higher noise floor than I'd like.

I would call it pretty low. Not problematic whatsoever in my opinion
2:20 Wow, $39 bucks sounds great. I can see this being a fantastic portable compact interface with battery power. *clicks affiliate link, sees $79.99* nvm (I do see a $20 coupon, but still) Also, why do the LED db meters look like mic grills?

@@ObscureMics It wouldn't be the first time something like this has happened right after a gear KZreadr uploaded a video on a budget item. Years ago, Bandrew "Podcastage" reviewed the Marantz Pod Pack. It came with a USB condensor microphone of meh all-plastic build quality and a metal boom arm. Mediocre quality, but it was *$17*, which immediately minimized all quality issues and catapulted it past lots of crud in the $20-$50 range. Days after the video was uploaded highly recommending it at that price, the price was hiked to $50. tl;dr they be watching, which I think is a credit to creators like Podcastage and you on your quality O:
