Hi mate, yes been there, done that exactly 11 months ago to the day. Guessing that it's a second time for you, that the routine will be easier. I found the needles excruciating, crazy pain, but the rewards outweigh all those small sacrifices by a long shot, and I'm very happy with the work. I just went for this procedure to Vera Clinic 2 weeks ago. You shouldnt worry about it being another country, etc. The process is pretty straight forward and convenient - as seen on the video. It is worry free. It is obviously pretty painful during the local anesthesia part and first few weeks are pretty uncomfortable and irritating after the procedure. Have to take care of your new grafts, sleep is tough, head swelling, pain, itching, tough to go out in public, etc. Regarding doing this during Christmas week, I would not suggest it. When I was there in September, I learned that it was off season and they did 13 clients that day. They told me it would go up to 25+ a day during winter months. The ladies that planted my hair, also said that during those peak months, they work up to 16 hours. I think it is natural for people to not be as sharp and perhaps make mistakes during long hours of work. IMHO, I would do it during the summer slow season to get the best possible care.
Great to watch it. I just did my surgery 15 days ago also in Turkey. Thank God the scabs were gone and the skin irritations from beginning also gone.
Awesome, super happy for you. I watched your videos prior to getting mine. The washing of the donor area was surprisingly painful lol.

Good luck lad 👍🏼 its gonna look great! I had frontal done last November and am just over 6 month. Coming on nicely also had 500 in the crown so should be filling in soon 🙏🏼 I never got offered any after care and i think they only use those camera thingy's in consultation... if you have a channel? I never got that. They also re-drew my hairline, just before the procedure in the surgery room so that wierded me out
Hello from Sweden 🇸🇪! This by far is as good as a Hollywood documentary. Well done. I am considering undergoing this procedure, however, it looks complicated. I heard that the post-surgical treatment is immensely expensive due to the amount of medication that should be bought every month for about two years!
I'm happy for you
Thanks for the video, and well done. I had my first expensive procedure here in U.S recently at one of the known clinic. The treatment, process and care you got way better than my experience. I’m thinking my 2nd procedure in Turkey.

yeah turkey is a great alternative to save cost!
I stayed there with my ht. But had it at a different clinic. I am 3 months in atm. It's pretty rough u had to do it twice. I'm sure I will too but don't have more donor area lol my sides are thin. Thanks man.
I noticed that the poked holes on the crown that the technician did look kinda uniform in their placement pattern. I know that when the hairs grow in, visually you wouldn't be able to tell but is this how all transplants usually go? Or are there some doctors or technicians that have a preference to implant in a more randomized pattern as I'm sure that's probably how native hairs naturally grown in. Great video btw very thorough. Thanks for sharing!
Appreciate your bravery. I’ll have to go back in your videos to see what made you go with them instead of inside the states. Again I appreciate your bravery bro. Can’t wait for the updates..!!!

Cost and quality. No clinic in US can have that sort of volume of customers due to insane costs. Since they dont get traffic they cant be really that good. It is like a professional athlete for surgeons. Practice and repetition allows those guys to get better at their craft. In the US, there are a ton of clinics and none of them get that much traffic. From what I have heard and people that I know who have done HTs in US, no comparison. Turkey is the way to go. FYI, I just did this procedure in the same clinic with the same doctor as well. I was traveling with my buddy - both from US - and he had the first done in the US - it was his second HT. No comparison!

@cobrachannel100

none of that is mandatory. You can have a HT and take no medication. You will retain your transplanted hair but your original hair could still face thinning and balding though. So you may end up with patches. Otherwise, a lot of people dont take any meds whatsoever, especially, if one gets a HT after the balding/thinning has stopped for example - like later 40s, etc.
@feedapony
9 ай бұрын
@cobrachannel100 your transplanted hair will thin and eventually fall out from the DHT if you do not take the medication. The moment you walk out of the surgical room n Turkey you're handed tablets.
@cobrachannel100

@@feedapony BS. I just walked out and nothing was handed to me. Transplanted hair is from your donor area. It will thin out in exactly the same manner as if it had been left in donor area. That hair is not subject to different behavior just because it has been moved. It is the same hair you had in donor area.
@feedapony

@cobrachannel100 bullshit? Iv 3 mates who were ALL advises to take finasteroid before and after the surgery!!! And all went to different clinics!!! the donor hair CAN start to thin over time when DHT reaches the follicles! Donor hair is not immune to DHT.

@@amitposthair I don't get how they can take so many grafts: they took 6100 on your first transplant, then 4000 on your second -is this the same as taking 10100 grafts all at once, as the hairs taken from the donor zone do not grow back? Do they not just do this all in one go as your donor area will look really bad missing 10.1k grafts at the same time, and instead split it up so that it looks not as bad during each separate recovery phase?
Did you do the Stem cell therapy they recommend? Seems pricy for non quantifiable outcomes? Any feedback as to why you didn't do it?

I got that one at Vera Clinic. It was $1K so it is definitely pricey as hell. I am not sure whether I will see any results from it. Like you said how to quantify those? In short, I came up to a conclusion -after also talking to other guys I met there - to not get any extra services, products they try selling while there. Just HT is what everybody should get and that is from what I have seen 2.9-3.2K euro/dollars. I got the oxygen thing and the stem cell and it was $1.5K extra. Looking back in a hindsight, I believe, it was a mistake. But, oh well...

@@amitposthair you mean Vera hair transplant clinic is the best one???
Which clinic did you go to first time around and how much was with Vera and why did you chose Vera clinic this time around? Also considering this was crown area this time around, how many grafts did you need and where did they take it from considering they used alot of donor from the back first time around? And finally, is it easier recovery a second time around or same painful recovery?

i have videos answering all your questions on my channel! Full cost for both hair transplants: kzread.info/dash/bejne/X4F8k5SEm8SWpbw.html Here is the video that show how many total grafts: kzread.info/dash/bejne/k4uTqZtwqa2-g6w.html As for your last question, i dont think the recovery is any easier, its just that now i know what to expect the second time around, so im not as freaked out as i was the first time around.

@@amitposthair how long did the tenderness in the donor area and the numbness in the donor and recipient area last and what can be done for it to speed up recovery?
@amitposthair

@@SpellJake lasted about a month. The clinic provides u with some aftercare products that help speed up so I usually use those!
Did you swell up in the recovery?

i did! but not as bad as i thought it would be because of the headband i was wearing
I know it’s pretty late now, but based on the drawing, they plan to extract hair so high up on your head, you will regret this as it’s going to be more visible when you get haircut. Great video and very informative 👍

depends on the amount of your hairloss. If it was extensive like mine (norwood 5), then mostly likey you would need it twice
