    I'm just about to start watching this but before i do, I'm delighted you're 3 weeks ahead of me so I'll just keep watching your journey and hopefully I'm around the same timescales as yours as regards growth albeit I'm pretty certain this time you got the crown done, im gona consider the crown area myself in 12/18 months time. Did the crown area being completely bald annoy you, stupid question probably as why else would you get it done... I'm just hoping I won't mind it so much as 35 years old. All the best as always dude and I hope you're happy - that's the main thing. You can look in the mirror and be happy with yourself 😎✌️👌

It's strange but its made me understand it much more and be much more prepared to and not panic everytime i see a hair fall out. Its mainly cuz if shedding, but still! hahaha and yes if i could i totally woudlve taken that locker door to court xD

    @@amitposthair @Post Hair Transplant Tips by Amit yea man, I'll probably go back (but to a different clinic, maybe Vera even, just didn't love my clinic n the travel involved) and get my crown done n just fix up anything else that needs done. After that though I am done but hey I'll worry about that in 12/18months time. I'm currently shedding loads atm but I know this is all apart of the process, I stopped taking Finasteride a week before my surgery so if I end up losing anymore hair I'll maybe retake it orrrr get it resolved in the second HT. Your crown will grow slower anyway as I think blood flow to our crowns is slower or something like that so for you, I'd wait the whole 12/18months for you're results. After your first HT, can you remember how maybe months after you became happy with your look? Like was it 4/5/6 months post op where you were satisfied with the outcome? Basically I'm wondering will mine be ok, appearance wise, come Christmas? And I know we all grow at different rates but I'm just curious? Thanks man n hope you're good. Look at my photo on this, I've a hat on, my god I can't wait to stop wearing hats to hide the baldness. Look like a thug!! But hey, be all forgotten about in a few months time. A haircut will be quite the experience after 6 years 😂

    How much do you think shock loss is a concern? I had a surgeon tell me that he wouldn't recommend I get a transplant in my scalp area, which is quite thin, because I might get shock loss on the hairs that are currently there 🤷‍♂

  • @amitposthair

    @amitposthair

    Жыл бұрын

    it really depends on the state of yoru hair. Taking finasteride definately helps prevent some state of shock loss but its also tough to avoid it completely. i think this is why surgeons also recommend using hair serums and minoxdil during the first 3 months to counter shock loss as much as possible

    So there have been studies showing that minoxidil on the donor area does help regrow some of the hair that has been extracted, but it is more rare. @amit. I've had my hair done in February this year. 4000 grafts. The transplant area looks good for 3 months but my donor area keeps getting red bumps/ingrown hairs. Still quite sensitive to touch.

    Minoxidil will not produce new donor hair. Once it’s extracted, that’s it hair will not grow there again. This why the MD (and you) need to be careful about how much is extracted

    Man your hair still look bad, too many gaps and voids. Thanks for sharing since i was considering going to turkey but your results are very bad i thought you were gonna have great hair after the second one also. Maybe the method Elon Musk used is still the best
