12 Month 2nd Hair Transplant Update | 4000 GRAFTS FUE | SUCCESS OR FAILURE?

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this video, I speak about my twelfth month (1 year) update of the second hair transplant I got from Istanbul Turkey. It's been exactly 2 years since i got my first and the hair is looking great so far! My crown still needs a little work but I've still got some time. This is after my 2nd experience of the FUE hair transplant (4000 grafts) I got in Istanbul, Turkey from Vera Clinic to cover my crown.

    Just got one from turkey (7075 grafts) three weeks ago and have been watching your journey. I am considering to go back for my second one too after a year since I’m just like you as a Norwood six. Your monthly snapshot journey is great and has put me on a hopeful comfortable expectation of achieving the same. Since you are a brown guy it makes it all more relatable. Thanks and great to see you over the months gain that sense of confidence and joy from it. It definitely shows. All handsome now with the air and getting married too. That is inspiration to all other bald dudes that feel their hair is an important part of who they are. Life is not same living bald versus having a hero look. Give it a try. The pros are more than divers, water resistant for example. So instead of go forward to SMP just try it .

    Amit, after the 18 month mark if your still unhappy go to Turkey and get an SMP treatment around the crown. The crown is tough because the most angles don’t have rows of hair behind them to add density. The SMP will give an illusion of a full crown. Good luck!

    The back of the head has less blood circulation than the front and top of the head. That's why your hair in the back is not growing with the same thickness as the hairline. It could honestly take longer for you to see a thicker result in the back because of that.

    Question - why do you think your first transplant was so much denser than the 2nd one? Although it is 6000g vs 4000g, I think grafts per coverage is about the same but your front is much denser than the crown

  • @amitposthair

    @amitposthair

    16 күн бұрын

    first one was done on my hairline and midscalp which are known to have better blood flow for hair growth. Also i still had some hairs in that area so it probably helped with a little density. For my crown, it was completely empty, and blood flow back there is not as much compared to the front, so im guessing thats why the result isnt the same as the first. Also, a total of 3200 grafts were directly on my scalp while the other 800 was added to my hairline and miscalp, so another reason why it may not seem as dense!

    the blood flow in the scalp area is much lower than the hairline and midscalp, hence it takes a little longer for the crown to grow out. I think its best to manage your expectations. Consider taking from the beard if you want to add more density as that usually helps!

Let’s see how that goes. Either way it sounds like I’m 2 years I will have to go back to get additional hairs implanted. I’m guessing I could get 3000 extracted. But yes I’ve heard it’s tough for hair to stick and grow in that area

    I have to be honest here and first off have to give you credit for going through with the transplant it’s massive, and the results to me are around 6/10 this is due to the inconsistency with the frontal hairline that 99% of Turkish Hair transplant centers do a botched job. It’s too evident that there is a transplant and the hairline just looks so unnatural. The skill level isn’t there with the best in the business and you get what you pay for. Overall the coverage is good from what you have come from and I hope you get more coverage and growth.

    Bro frankly speaking u had great donor area but u chosen wrong clinic for hair transplant, also look like they did grafts cheating, it does not look like 6100 grafts in first session also 4000 grafts are enough for balding crown but they could not give even 20% density.... Choose better clinic next time for another session of hair transplant, May me max 3500 to 4000 grafts(2500 from beard + 1500 scalp) to add more density in hairline, mid scalp and crown area...Good luck and Congrats for ur wedding....

    He already had 10k extracted from the back and side. There is a danger of doner depletion. However he can add beard hair to his crown if he wants to…

    appreciate the honesty! realistically this isnt the final result that I wouldve hoped for but as i said, coming from nothing, this is great for what it is. But ye si do agree Turkish hair transplant centres dont do 100% of the job, but at least they get you closer than you were before!
