Maybe a 2. It's over-edited within an inch of its life...after all, why make a cut when fifteen would be so much better. It's like watching a strobe light. Usually this is to cover up an actor's lack of skill but Sratham has plenty of that, so WTF?!? Back the camera up and let us actually see what's going on...

I have a friend who told a guy, you have ten seconds to remove your hand from my body, and then I will remove it from your body. It spooked the guy to the point he let go. Jason is an awesome actor.

i did that a long time ago as well. Twice Actually well actually it was probably a few times, but twice that i can remember clearly Time 1 - a guy grabs me by the shirt and he wants to rob me. Now you need to understand.... I was like 25 or 30 years old, Training Martial arts 6 days a week. so i said "Let me go or i'll separate your wrist from your hand and you'll never use it again" He looked at me and let me go He said "sorry" and walked away that was funny shit Time 2 - Guy want to rob me , Grabs my shirt again i grab him solidly by the throat (to be clear, not all the way around the throat, but with thumb and finger ready to go behind his thorax he quickly grabs me by the balls without hesitation.. i say to him "Fucking let go or i'll rip your thoat out in 3 seconds" and i did actually insert my fingers and thumb really far behind his thorax and pulled towards me HE INSTANTLY LET GO i then put my fists up (thinking he was going to attack) and he ran away it's interesting what you can do if you're committed to it

What I love about John Wick and Atomic Blonde is that they completely changed the way fight scenes are done. Long, long takes and very few cuts. All fight scenes going forward will be compared to that standard.

I absolutely hate the fight scenes with an edit every 0.5 second.

Watched Beekeeper last week. Most enjoyable movie I’ve seen all year. And it’s in my Statham rotation now which means many more rewatches. Serious guilty pleasure Oppi is a great movie but not on my rewatch list

I remember me getting into a bar fight with 3 dudes i just finished wstvhing the movie the night prior. Woke up 2 days later in ICU it dint go like the movie

Since the first Transporter they lost the plot. Statham is a capable martial artist, showcase that, not bury it in a million edits. With this many edits I could do these movies.

In these fight scenes, it's always extremely convenient that the bad guys only appear after the previous one has been dispatched. It's stupid.

The shaky cam and constant cuts is jarring

Decades ago I chuckled my way through fight scenes in the old 'kung fu' movies where, for inexplicable reasons, a gang of baddies set upon a lone good guy one at a time, giving our hero time to deal with them individually. Had they all attacked simultaneously, as would be the case in the real world, that would be the end of the movie I suppose, so we have to pretend we didn't notice. It seems Hollywood is still pulling that old - stupid and unbelievable - trick. Yawn.

I sure hope stuntmen in this and other movies make VERY good money, since they are making the wealthy stars look good and contribute loads to that star’s box office appeal.

First: this movie scene didnt play out in the US... in most European countries you can get arrested just for carrying a gun without permission. Why take the risk if you are like 6 against one against a driver? Second: Their boss wanted him to drive a car... Im pretty sure he told them not to kill him.

Here's a message to all potential future film makers . . . Stop hiring Americans to direct and edit fight scenes. The constant camera angle changes, closeups, and "hit shadowing" where no impacts are ever shown are seriously annoying and need to end in Hollywood once and for all. If you want to see what good fight scenes look like, go back to the old Shaw Brothers martial arts films. Long cuts, cameras zoomed out so you can see both fighters at once, and smooth choreography that shows the skills of both fighters. Movies like Five Deadly Venoms, Invincible Shaolin, and the 36th Chamber of Shaolin are some of the best examples of what fight scenes should look like.

The important thing you're forgetting is that we don't pay to see a movie to watch a hand to hand combat documentary, we pay to be entertained.

Yes, it IS in just for entertainment. But still, IT should be a bit more realistic. The scene is far away from reality But the most ridiculous scenes in such movies are those, when girls fight male opponents double their size and win. Ever noticed, that in any scene where a female and a male fight, it is always the girl who wins?

@@michaelhenter2856 Best you approach the screenwriters, producers and directors Guilds and complain. Or do what I do, watch movies that were filmed before CGI existed. However, that said, I do enjoy John Wick, even if it is all bs, as is the Transporter. Even Arnold Schwarzenegger in films like Commando etc, he outran bullets. But it is what it is, entertainment.

Americans can’t deal with reality, so they want fantasy. They even demand it. Life’s much easier that way.

This is so STUPID and UNREALISTIC. The classics are much better than these CGI garbage movies that bear no relationship with reality whatsoever. ... ZERO .... NADA. ... It's like a cheesy cartoon fantasy land imitating the real

All the fights/explosions are tedious, not very satisfying. I won't watch this drek.

Pretty phoney, manipulated scene. Not much of an actor, a John Wayne, one-trick pony lightweight 👎🏻
