OMG!! I have never heard anyone talk about The Measure!! It was my favorite book of last year!! It’s sooooo underrated! I wanted to start a book club just to talk about this book…but I don’t like people enough.🤷🏼‍♀️

Here are some of my 5 star read: The Girl with the Louding Voice, Symphony of Secrets, Perfect Peace (very hard read but worth it), Hurricane Summer, One Summer in Savannah, Someday Maybe, 32 Candles, The Dust Bowl Orphans, Solito (audiobook), The Thing About Home and recently released Sweetness in the Skin. Ok I’ll stop there lol

I always like/love Fredrik Backman books. I assume you read A Man Called Ove….(that was my introduction to the amazing F. Backman- I think it’s a 5 star for me). The Nightingale was a 5 star read for me. I’ve read some of the books you talked about, and I’m adding some to my REALLLY LONG TBR list. Happy that The Measure is #2 on my list!! I think I might be moving it to #1 and The Bee Sting can go to #2. Thanks for another great video. I hope your eye feels better soon.

Okay Razorblade Tears is an easy 5 stars, but All The Sinners Bleed.....6 stars! That book came after way too many poorly written, problematic, BS thrillers and SA Cosby, a damn lyrical poet of an author comes in with the serial killer thriller to end all serial killer thrillers? *chef's kiss* He's a master.

I have yet to read a Fredrik Backman book. Thanks for sharing Buki Papillon, Gillian McAllister.

Allegedly is so good! Tiffany D. Jackson has become one of my favorite authors of all time. Her books always gut punch me. Also razorblade tears was sooooooooo good. Perfection.

i'm pretty sure sa cosby altered the dna of everyone who read 'razorblade tears' whether or not they enjoyed it. i'll be there if you start a campaign to get you in the screen adaptation!

Ooh I read Razorblade Tears at the end of last month and loved it. Am going to be reading ALL his other books. All. Of. Them. I loved Black Cake, I have not watched the show, pleased to hear it did it justice… Ooh I might start the show tonight. Allegedly was amazing. I need to read more of her books. The Nickel Boys broke me. The Rachel Incident is a book I’m soooooo excited for. It’s on its way I believe. Honor also sounds amazing. Too many amazing sounding books… that I haven’t got my mitts on yet. Lol.

I loved Razorblade Tears. It's one of my all time favorite books. Wrong Place Wrong Time was so different. I enjoyed it but found that listening to the audiobook helped with all the time jumps. Another favorite of mine is All My Rage. It's Young Adult but it is so powerful and beautifully written.

Yes, read “Honor” again. That book took me totally out the U.S. Amazing writing and heartbreaking, too.

I am never gonna get thru this list- but I’m trying! Reading Rachel Incident now. Enjoyable. I could NOT finish Wrong Time, Wrong Place. By the time I was 3 days back-done! Too frustrating. Great video. I need to hear more singing:)
