I loved Girl with the Louding Voice. I’m so excited to read the follow up, And So I Roar (August release). I also loved Don’t Cry For Me whose follow up was just announced. It’s called Issac’s Song and it’s scheduled for release in January 2025.

I hear you! I recently saw someone give a bad review of a book that I absolutely loved and I just felt so unnecessarily hurt by it (haha) Like, HOW DARE THEY not LOVE these characters as much as I do. But of course I would never argue with them about in comments or otherwise. That’s silly business and who’s got time for that? Not me. I’ve got more books to read, okay? Thanks for the book recs! A few years ago, I read "Homegoing" by Yaa Gyasi and loved it! (it was a five stars read for me), so I always wanted to read her book "Transcendent Kingdom" also. I bought it recently and plan to read it before the end of this year.

You made The Other Side of Night seem so good, I opened up library app to add to my list and to my surprise- saw I read 24% of it a few months ago and returned it!!!😮 going to start over and try to push thru now! Loved Silent Patient. But couldn’t get into the authors new book The Fury. Will wait for your review on that one. Mariah!!! Vision of Love 🎶 off to find that one! Be well ❤
