The spare upstairs room in the Corvo Blanco, if you romance Yennifer there's suddenly a more flowery dress on an "armor rack" waiting to be put on similar to the one she jokes about turning her colors to since she's retired along with Geralt. It's easy to miss as there really isn't much reason to go up to the second floor after the first time you look over the house. And more to the point it only appears there with the Yennifer romance. Nothing changes with Ciri, Triss, or Dandelion. And also only appears once you receive your house guest final mission. @@colbunkmust​

Yeah, it doesn't mean Yen and Geralt were literally in Cyberpunk's world or something (it could, but that's not the point). I feel like years ago, mainly when I watched Batman: Arkham's easter eggs, people were generally more accepting of the fact that an easter egg is sometimes just an easter egg, someting put in the game by the devs for the players to notice and think "O, a reference, nice". But nowadays I see that people tend to overanalyse every detail, reach for unimaginable conclusions just because they want something more to be true, and are unable to enjoy a neat little easter egg.

More or less. Ciri can travel through time and space, but she never confirmed 100% that she was in the cyberpunk 2077 world. In fact Witcher3 is a game in the CB2077 universe and this is where all the easter eggs come from

Ciri took them to the place she told Geralt she saw on one of her trips during their conversation just after Geral found her, in the isle of mists? In that conversation Ciri says "People had metal in their heads, waged war from distance. using things similar to megascopes. And there were no horses, everyone had their own flying ship instead". I remember people saying this piece of dialogue was a Cyberpunk easter egg too. Full circle 🤣

I used to tell people the same thing. I doubt a witcher/cyberpunk crossover will happen but i will say the sequels for both of these franchises looking up. To be honest i want them to move on from the witcher to something new even cyberpunk is their “new”. We shall see what happens

all geralt now needs is a "boi" and together they can go on a journey to scatter the ashes at the peak.

There is an experiment Geralt can undertake in Witcher 2, where he drinks an unidentified potion, seemingly with no effects. If you import a save with that decision in Witcher 3, you might come across a note describing a research based on that experiment, that mentions a potential cure to Witcher infertility. So who knows, maybe Geralt might get a boi of his own.

It's getting a little 'reachy' these days...for Letalis' sake, I hope they make another game 1/10th as unaffected by woke politics as TW3...but I will not hold my breath, bc once you are rich, you lose the connection with the common man, who wants another game as devoted to the world of Sapkowski as TW3, but if they make it for the troll at Twatter, then it will be The Witcher/The Last of Us hybrid, and I will NEVER buy such a thing...

Not gonna lie, seeing this did make my heart drop for a moment. Witcher 3 and the main characters hold a special spot in me, i have a lot of sentimental attachment to the game's characters and consciously being aware of any of their deaths really fills me with deep sorrow, mere pixels as they may be. It is why it will be incredibly difficult for me to get into Witcher 4...whenever it may come, because knowing it's the same world my Geralt lived in, loved, and had a grand time with his friends...now all being dead...is just so damn depressing. It's all because the game had such a huge impact psychologically. Cyberpunk 2077 is a tad ''weaker'' in that sense, since your character is more or less a random person with no actual backstory.

I think Witcher 3 is more like an epic meant to tell the story of a hero saving the world. Cyberpunk has a random main character just focused on survival and friends because it’s supposed to resonate with the player better. I liked Cyberpunk a lot more but they are both excellent stories.

Do not sorrow the one you cared for, they still remain ! Lot of people hated the idea to switch character in Red Dead Redemption and in the end Arthur is as loved as John. Even in the witcher series, Ciri (while not being the main character, I confess) has joined the crew later and is also accepted.

@@Johanna-vr2qx Mutations... on Withcer 3 it's implied he's about 150 y/o, and I think still considerably younge rthan Vesimir. But... if there's any lore that would suggest witchers can make it to a thousand... I don;t know, nor think so. Letalis idea of time travel makes much more sense than a naturally aged Geralt.

The Witcher is a gift that just keeps on giving. Thank you , hope you all are well.

Also in the space port. Look for someone called "suspicious traveler". If you see this NPC, think hard of who it reminds you of. It is an easter egg, but the more you play the game, the more you won't figure out what easter egg it is. Probably the best easter egg i found.

I guess Yen took more seriously Ciri's stories about travelling to other dimensions (the ones Ciri says to Geralt when he finds her in the misty islands) and both travelled to Cyberpunk's world, so she knew that there was a way to travel to the moon and have her ashes scattered one day. Or, as a second thought, she dies before Geralt, has the wish to scatter her ashes at the moon, and Ciri says to Geralt that they can travel to this world where space flight is reality. But as far as I remember, Witcher's world has a different sky, so our moon is not the same one as there... I guess we'll never find out more, it's one of those numerous stories CDPR knows to create and leave with a sense of mystery

Around that same part in the level I found a very peculiar and out of place jewelry box at the end of a ventilation shaft that you cannot interact with. It's a dead end with nothing to loot.

huh... this one got me in tears. i know everyone will meet "the end" but i was never thinking i can see main characters from here meet their end... Vesimir was painful enough for me and hoped it was last loss i can find there.

Although it's just an easter egg and shouldn't be over-analyzed, but: My personal theory is that Yennefer wrote that as a more or less metaphorical request, one meant to portray her and Geralt's love for each other, but given that Geralt loved her so much he took it upon himself to fulfill it to the letter no matter what, and then he remembered what Ciri told him about the world with the "Flying Ships" and asked her if they can go there and take one of those ships to the moon to fulfill Yen's Last Wish !

TBH I hate depressing games that have ONLY "bad" endings, and reading that I know I won't bother playing Phantom Liberty. I mean, I have my own reasons to sometimes feel sad of discontent with the word, so I don't need a game to feed me artificial ones on top of that, thanks very much but no. I might be weird, but I play games to feel good, and I notice a trend in the recent few years for games that want to be seen as having good storytelling to be damn depressing and force feeding the player with negative emotions. Because, oh those sad stories are so serious and mature... As if good, mature and intelligent storytelling couldn't have positive vibes, humour and optimism. Ehh, I'd love a story focused AAA game in Pratchett's style.

CDPR: Ciri will not be in this game. The universes are separate (despite the fact that Ciri clearly references Cyberpunk). Also CDPR:

I was happy to see xLetalis uploaded a new video and then I read the title😢

this was one of those cases where u see somthing cool in the game and take a screen shot but just forget about it for like 2 weeks :D ty for finding the shard again, i totally did not see the urn next to it.

Ciri has the ability to travel between time and space. She even made a veiled reference to Cyberpunk. She could have taken the ashes to a place where getting to the moon was much easier.

It may be a nice little easter egg, but I would never accept such easter eggs as canon.

I think it';s more of a reference and Easter Egg between Witcher 3 and God of War (2018), where basically Kratos and "boy" fulfill the last wish of "boy" mother of taking "her ashes to the highest peak in all the realms" (which in CP world would be the Moon ;)

Or maybe she just died of old age long after Geralt allready died?

I actually just finished The Witcher 3 for the first time and felt content with the ending I got and after Phantom Liberty's two endings that made me depressed it felt nice playing through TW3 despite it being a bumpy ride here and there. Then CDPR decides to punch me in the gut with this. I refuse to believe this could be our Geralt and Yen but an alternate timeline of them living in the Cyberpunk universe.

Fun fact - there is a magazine with Ciri's face in your desk drawer when you start the Corpo path. Just start as corpo, get to your desk after speaking to your boss and here it is!

In HoS there is a "Goblet of Fire" in the Auction house as well. And in Skellige there is a ruin with "sky cells" as we know them from Game of Thones, with a small dwarfish guy dead there who looks a lot like tyrion lannister. I loved those little references in TW3 and a nice touch to see some of them in CP2077 as well. I think theorizing about things is fine especially given Ciri can jump through time and space, but at the end of the day its probably only a refference. Or maybe Ciri went to the universe of harry potter and took the goblet of fire from there. Who knows :D

Be too much to ask if you just left your character there for long enough Ciri would flash into existence, grab the urn, request the shard from you, exchanging it for Yennifer's choker emblem, then flash away.

Clearly a Yen last letter of love when she was dying. The last wish book image is a very strong evidence to battle. And the reference to the peak where he told she loved her seals that.

I always thought sorcerers could live forever in the witcher world (barring someone/something killing them), seeing as they can stop their own aging.

I love Easter eggs everywhere you find them!!

If you remember how Geralt instantly goes to modify himself in Blood and Wine sidequest, he would become cyberpsycho in a month in NightCity. Or another Adam Smasher.

Kinda reminds me of that Easter egg where Ciri mentioned running around in a realm where they had flying cars and metal in their heads. Didn't the devs confirm that she was referencing Cyberpunk at one point? Since by the time Witcher 3 was released they would have already been working on the concept for Cyberpunk for a while.

Ciri also brings up flying vehicles and such while talking about jumping from universe to universe in the witcher 3.

Never thought in my life i could ever make a relatable link between : Geralt of Rivia / Yennefer Lucy / David Martinez Kratos / Faye ("Spread ashes" - "Tribute to a dead lover" - "Highest peak/mountains" - "Going to the moon as a final point to a journey")

You also have to keep in mind the lore. Ciri can travel through space & time. She has been to the future & alternative worlds. So I would assume that Gerald & Yennifer didn't necessarily live that long, but possibly had Ciri teleport them there, or close enough to where they lived in the future and time passed and they decided to stay there. Or maybe they were trapped there because Ciri wasn't around to take them back to their own time & place. ??

For clarity, you do not have to get detained in order to reach this room. I found this last night w/o getting detained by exploring the first large room down the path to the Tycho Terminal. I think I had to pass a Tech Ability check of 20 to enter a door that lead to this hallway/room

I think this easter egg is more about Ciri ,than about Yen and Geralt. Remember she is capable of traveling between worlds through time and space and she mentioned that she visited world like Cyberpunk once. In W3 at the end of Isle of Mists mission you can ask her as Geralt what was that world where Eredin couldn't find her and she'll describe world just like Cyberpunk so i think this easter egg is related to that one moment.

"The Moon" could reference the place where Gaunter O'Dimm told Gerald to bring Olgierd von Everec. The one that took Y's ashes, maybe considered the literal meaning of the moon. Maybe there is a place just like the one in the Witcher also in Cyberpunk.

I don't think there is a very deep meaning behind it. In the Witcher there is also a cyberpunk reference. Where ciri mentions she traveled to a place where the people have metal in their head (or something like that, it's been a while since I've played) kind of vague but just enough to get the reference, and I think this is just the same but for the Witcher. But if you really want to speculate about how the ashes got there; I would rather think that Yen died somehow and left Gerald that letter. Since they live in a kind of medieval period and Gerald of course is aware of Ciri's powers, maybe he asked her to travel trough space and time to find a way to bring yen's ashes to the moon, since he couldn't do it himself?

Geralt would absolutely be the scariest cyberninja with his Witcher enhancements and some cybernetics.

Ciri was in Night City, she said it in the Witcher 3 game as well, when she describes hiding in a world where people "had metal in their heads," "had their own flying ships," and used long-distance weapons "similar to megascopes. Could be possible that she took the ashes and teleported back to Night City.

I am almost 100% sure I've found something in kaer morhen nobody has found before It's a small stone archway with candles lit near it and the drawing of a hanging mans head drawn on the rocks It's just out in the wilderness away from any paths

Maybe they are just referencing that in the year 2077, character from the Witcher series are all dead, like from 1282 I believe to now year 2077

There is also a reference to them going through a portal from ciri and end up in a foreign futuristic land with modern day or futuristic machines and buildings etc if I'm correct. so its not impossible they went through one and stayed or had to and could explain the time difference if its a land before cyberpunk. Most likely its just a reference and not an entire canon thing.

Not putting a Ciri sub-quest was still a missed opportunity.
