I keep trying to buy two day tickets to the Chicago show and the website keeps telling me they’re not available for purchase! Please help!

Some of the animals I have opinions about whether or not they should be readily available just for the animals' safety but damn it's awesome to see! This video is just wild, and I'm glad you were able to share your experience.

Wow $500 for a blue tongue lizard! They are running around on my property here in Australia, but they are also protected from being lizardnapped from the wild, as they should be. They are not hard to breed in captivity though.

Not hard to breed yes, but not super common outside of Australia. Usual price in europe (don´t know for america) is around 200 to 300 from what i have seen

The Luteus plecos cost between £750 to £1000 in uk depending on the colour phase they are in

So I’m debating very hard on whether or not to go into this hobby or not. There’s just one thing that concerns me-how do I make sure that my fish, coral, seaweed, anything isn’t from the wild; I only want it to be farmed. I’m concerned about that.

The pro of the pet trade is animals are worth more alive so are unlikely to get killed and be endangered in the wild also most amphibians and reptiles are captive bred which is proving bad for natural populations

And that baby turtle! That dude was FOS, those teeny Yellow-bellied sliders @ 11:50 get tremendous, WAY too large for any indoor setup; strictly an outdoor pond turtle. Also, that woman must be insane paying $900. for a Panther Chameleon. She could’ve purchased round-trip airfare to So Florida and collected as many Veiled & Panther chameleons for FREE. *I really dislike some of these rinky-dink “animal expos.”*

The green tree python is cheaper over there then over here in Australia 😮

They probably take cycled filter media with them and put an airstone in with it so that the bacteria have access to oxygen.

A good source (non video) is the aquarium reddit, it has guides about how to get started. The community is also often open and friendly towards beginners that are willing to learn. Seriously fish is a decent site to find info about specific species.On youtube I like aquarium co-op, he focuses mostly on the smaller fish that aren't agressive. King off DIY is also a good channels as over the years he's kept many species, going from small fish to predatory monster fish. A big tip when getting your first aquarium is to get one that's between 20gal/70L and 40gal/150L. With smaller aquariums a beginner mistake can have big consequinces. Bigger aquariums can be intimidating for a beginner. Also be carefull if you ever buy an algae eater as the often sold common pleco can grow over a feet/30 cm long, they are also bad algae eaters and poops a lot.

@@LeaoJo Just keep an eye on the mollies, some can be bullies towards slow fish like guppies. The pleco's either need wood or algae tablets that contain wood fibre, it helps with their digestion.

@@LeaoJo The driftwood is okay, than you can feed the pleco's the normal spirulina tabs. I wouldn't add any other fish as bristlenoses and mollies are already big fish for a 15 gal. For plants a lot off people use a liquid fertilizer or tablets to put in the substrate.

So expensive and a ripoff eehhh
