FYI: Seems like signing up on Poker Atlas requires that you’re within 30 miles of the casino. Didn’t happen with other meetups.

@@ValdestotsVoiceyeah I felt like in an EP v EP 3bet there was a high chance of a bigger pocket pair, esp against an opponent I hadn’t seen 3bet. And also I couldn’t justify set mining at the current stack depth. If we were significantly deeper I could’ve justified a call

I also folded a straight flush once. A3dd into the muck after a raise then re-raise before me. Flop 2d,4d,5d. I would have flopped it. Those players both went all in after the flop and everyone was DEEP. After that I went home and punched my grandmother in the face.

It’s always a combination of both - of course I got lucky and ran well, but also took advantage of some spots, and folded in other spots where I was likely to lose if I kept dishing money in

In any given session of poker, there’s a lot of luck involved in whether it’s a winning or a losing session. But how much you win or lose in all these spots can be controllable, and in the long term these differences show. If you were to look at my last 2,000+ hours of live cash, you would see consistent results

Haha I totally feel you and understand. Creating the Boston character was really just a way to separate my shorts from my real thoughts, since no one wants to hear actual poker analysis in shorts. All they want is flash and gamble
