The broken screen method is actually a really bad idea. The phone will tell you that a non genuine part has been installed and will limit some functionality. Every single part on each Apple product is linked with each other with a unique serial number that only Apple can place on a replaced part to fully work with the device.

That comment isnt 100% correct. Not every single part is linked to the others only a few of them. And you can make the screen work normally by copying the serial number from the old to the new one using eg JCID V1SE programmer

I started flipping phones when the iPhone 7 was released. I got the iPhone 7 after 4 months of release, just trading for the HTC 10. Now, that I live in Poland, it's a lot harder and harder to do this (in Poland). They block phones (mainly Android) and iPhones because they're blocked by antennas, and all mobile providers are in touch with each other to prevent not paying for a phone.

Żeby kupić podróbkę to trzeba się bardzo nie znać (telefon trzeba minimum 10 minut sprawdzać każdy, najlepiej z listą którą się uzupełnia i porządkuje). Ale już się tym od 7 miesięcy nie zajmuję. Każdy telefon z dowodem zakupu lub wskazania gdzie był kupowany. Nawet 75% rat ci nie gwarantuje nie zablokowania (aktualnie mam do sprzedania telefon co od czerwca leżał zablokowany po 14 miesiącach używania przez klienta (teraz spłacony w 100%))

What this person (like many iphone flippers) fail to mention is that unless you use a genuine apple screen replacement, face ID won't work on the phone - which is practically the iPhones major selling point. The cost of genuine apple parts are expensive to the point where usually the profit margin would be razor thin, so not worth the time or money invested. Experienced iPhone flipper here.
