Currently have the iPhone 15 and I bought this phone for a good price of 30 dollars on eBay. Sadly, the battery is at 79% where I charge it and 2 minutes starts draining fast to the point where it lasts one hour. Also overheats in 5 minutes while watching KZread, browsing, or streaming shows. Good things about this iPhone is the size is good on the hand, Touch ID, and most importantly the headphone jack. I mostly bought this phone to use as an iPod touch to listen to music and use it as a minimalist phone to cut screen time. Hopefully I can replace the battery soon.

used it until a month ago. couldn’t fault it for the most part, only RAM was severely lacking, so that it constantly had to reload apps. headphone jack and touch id are what I miss most when using my 13 pro. that, and the size / weight, which were pretty ideal.

I have the same phone that I use as a iPod and although I love the design and feel, I’d never want to downgrade from my 15 to this. My 15 could run miles around this phone and even though I think the 6s preforms great for it’s age, I can’t imagine using it as a main phone now. I also have a SE 3 that is my favorite phone I’d recommend any iPhone starting from that one and up, the 6s I have lasts about 4 hours with low power mode on and has 99% battery health but I’d rather use my SE 3 since that lasts 6-8 hours for me. I honestly don’t expect iOS 15 to be relevant much longer so honestly even a 12 would be a great option.

iPhone XR, XS and XS max is now the same support years of iOS (6 years) as 6S as of iOS 18.

1:21 iphone xr was the first to loose 3d touch, 1:46 all s model iphones have got an aditional year of ios updates, iphone xs has like 6 years for example. also paying over 30 euros for a 6s is outageous. best part about this phone is you can jailbreak it on the latest software.

Well as I said in the video, most iPhone 6s phones are sold for under 100 bucks. But I personally think it is better to save some more money and buy a 12 or 13.

iPhone SE 2 or 3 are great to buy used or refurbished, as they seem to not hold on to value great, but that means you can get a modern phone for cheap. You’re also going to be future proofed unlike a iPhone 6s. If you want to get a full screen iPhone, go for the 11. Great value for money.

at least get an xr, using 6s in 2024 is mental. if you don’t have any cash to upgrade to xr better use cheap android for future app compatibility.

Just get an iPhone SE 2nd or 3rd generation instead. It’s not worth it getting a 9 year old iPhone and using it as a daily driver in 2024

My iphone 6s somehow has 64GB of storage😅

I have the iPhone 6 regular and its stuck on ios 12.5.7 so i cant download many apps. Storage is 16gb idk ram but prob 2g ram. But I’m still grateful ig cuz im 14

If you are wanting an upgrade the best recommendations for a cheap iPhone would be an iPhone SE 2nd generation or iPhone 11

at least get an xr or even better get an 11 for bare minimum. using 6s in 2024 is mental. at this point better buy cheap android phone for future app compatibility.
