I feel safer in China than The U.K | Living in China for 10 years

Stephen moved from The UK to work as an English teacher in China just for a year. He fell in love with China and has spent the last 10 years of his life in China and he’s married to a beautiful Chinese woman. They have a cute girl together called Grace.
He shared his experiences with LIVING IN CHINA SERIES.
Our conversation centered around life in China, marriage issues, raising a kid in China, his expectations before coming China, things his Chinese wife wished she knew before marriage, his advice to foreigners coming to China etc

Hahaha what is the porpouse of making this type of videos??? Only people payed by CCP does this type of videos. Guys, what is the point??? It is beyond ridiculous. And the worse is that KZread is not even alowed in China. So, this is pure propaganda. China doesn't want their population sees and read what the world shows it about China and other areas. So sad to see people selling their souls.

Thanks for your comment . It’s quite ridiculous to say that we’ve been paid to make these videos. These series of videos are for foreigners living in China to share their experiences. I’m sorry none of us have sold his soul lol Just chill and don’t be bitter about China. There’s no perfect country in the world and China isn’t an exception notwithstanding these are real experiences of people living here. Have a great day.

@Sora L. I was going to ask the same question for this Ana Paula Amaral. It is obvious the purpose of this video by Blessy is to show people's life there in China. Therefore, what is the purpose of the comment by Ana? Discredit Blessy, discredit the interviewees, discredit China, or even discredit KZread? By the way, Ana should brush up his/her language skill; for example "payed" should be "paid."

KZread got blocked because Google left China on their own decision. Why? Cause they do not wanted to comply with the local rule and laws. But if you are smart enough, you would understand that while Google and their services left China, they still got office in China and earning big money over ads revenues. Remember, KZread or Google doesn’t mean anything, and if they or any other western social media platform wanted to go to China, all they have to do is to comply with local rule and law( isn’t that how other countries does too?) Take a look a Microsoft and Apple, they are doing fine in China. Last l, you’ve watch too much propaganda regarding China.

The biggest impression foreigners living in China have about China is that there is no racial discrimination in China, the Chinese society is very safe, the charm of Chinese culture, there are many Chinese delicacies, and there are many opportunities for development in China. I have seen friends around me who have formed a multinational family. They are very happiness. The only thing they are unhappy about is that it is difficult to apply for a green card in China.

Here people just walk into the supermarket, grab whatever they want, run out without paying. Security guards won’t risk their lives for the minimum wage they get. Some places in London shops are not opened before the schools open. Kids just go in and take whatever they can; learning from young. Yes, London or other main city in U.K. - life! The guy is right! I have lived in London over 40 years. It was not like this when I came to this country. Now you have to make sure you double lock the front door. Police are always too busy to help in crimes like these.

Davos was set up for these elites to avoid paying. Go and do your research son. @@greaterbayareahero1401 I am Chinese, growing up in China, studying and have worked in China for many years. What I want to convey is that west countries tax directly on the income and the consumption, or the real estate based on value. This system tax the working people with higher income; it is a good system in general. The bad part of the western tax system is that the capital gain (a kind of income) has higher status than the working income and a half of the capital income are deduced from the income before paying tax. This is the worst part of the western tax system: incomes from hard work and from capital gain is not equal. I have friends and classmates working in Bay Area paying 30% of income tax, very high in US. Canadians pay more income tax.. California and Canada have very good benefits from the tax system, too good; it shall be reduced in my opinion.
