Difference of definitions based upon point of view. Citizens use ok to mean safe. Cops use it to mean legal. The is will answer the cops definition for ok but he doesn't care about the citizens definition of ok.

This is what's called PREDATORY POLICING . Instigate and Escalate a Peaceful Encounter , with a Law Abiding Citizen , looking for anything to charge her with .

What we hear using our definition of ok is that we think he is asking if she needs any help. If she is having any kind of medical or safety issues. With what he is asking, he gets his answer by running our driver's license. What we interpret he gets his answer by our saying we are ok. That is why he doesn't just leave and keeps saying the same thing over and over again making us think he is a retarded dumbass. The police have many phrases like that they use to trick us into incriminating ourselves or giving up our rights. That is why the only thing they say that is truthful is that anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law and they are required to admit that or they wouldn't. Lol

The thing you have to realize is the difference in the definitions of terms based upon the points of view. Citizens use the word ok to mean safe or in a safe headspace. The police use the word ok to mean legal. They don't give a fuck about our safety. They want to check if they have any justification for tickets or an arrest. That is why he keeps saying he just wants to make sure she is ok.

The only thing a cop fears more than a citizen who knows their rights is a citizen that is legally armed. First she has a plate that is not registered. Then, he wants to know if she is "okay".
