When it’s not the final product, it’s sometimes more fun because you can experiment and try new things! I loved the idea to make the cuts after the boards were screwed in! Saved a lot of time measuring and lining it up to get it exactly straight!

Wow that was a nice video. Listen Big G I was a little concerned in the beginning of the video when I saw you wearing something on your ankle and I said to myself omg house arrest again?!?!? I realized it was just ur hearing protection lol. Your wife decorated the cabin wonderfully and now we see who the real talent is 😘. The ramp was giving me anxiety combined with the snow but it all worked out un the end and all that ice on the wood kept your blade cool when you made cuts. It was nice to see the finishing touches on the inside. Great job and thanks for keeping us entertained.

I loved watching you building this cabin. It has turned out awesome! I am curious, I saw that you have a little space heater in there. Does the mini split not heat the space well enough? I ask because I’m putting a mini split in my garage so I’m curious if it will do the job to keep it comfortable to work in.

We have a mini split heating and cooling the space above our garage. I have a love/hate relationship with heat pumps. They’re not furnaces - they’re really meant to keep consistent temperatures rather than provide insta-heating/cooling to an area. I forget they aren’t furnaces or A/C units sometimes. That being said, our space stays consistently comfortable. But I wonder at the efficacy of a heat pump in a space you may or may not want heated at all times. If that’s the case, a radiant/convection-type heater might be something you’ll enjoy more. Just make sure it’s 18 inches off the floor of the garage (per most state codes) for ignition danger from gasoline vapors.
