Here's how I broke the sprint world record with a Naruto run! By attaching high powered EDF jets to my hands and wearing special slip shoes, I am able to get enough thrust to run 29mph! This technically beats Usain Bolts record of 27mph. Subscribe to see us turn this into a Jet Pack next.

This is amazing, and it honestly makes Usain's speed that much more impressive. Not just because he went that fast, but as this shows, reaching that speed is only half the battle. Holding that speed consistently and without falter is the most impressive thing honestly.

You can improve these "shoes with jets" by placing some springs inside of the shoes. That way you can keep sliding and gain a good height so you will use less force for running and probably more speed then Bolt.

That’s was pretty cool , could see it working by a backpack type deal managed by a button or something so u could run more freely?
I’ve had an idea similar to this before, but instead of the thrust being attached to your arms, it’s attached to your waist on a belt. That way the thrust is also pushing more on your center of mass. You’d need to angle the thrusters at a slightly upward angle to keep them from pushing you into the ground.
@furryalpacca8634

if you fall you are fked tho, having them on your arms gives you more control and you can react more quickly

@furryalpacca8634
Жыл бұрын
@@theaumguy1621 I do IT for a living so I always think about possible issues, so I am not trying to discourage you / patronize you :) There are 2 issues with this idea, first if you have like 60+lbs thrust on your waist you won't really be able to counteract that with less power on your arms. Also stopping is an issue, even if you turn the waist thrusters off, it's going to be difficult to counteract the momentum with small thrusters on your arm. This might be fine if you are secure in keeping a good posture, but if you fall forwards you have 60lbs thrust slamming you into the ground. You'd have to react super fast in turning the waist thrusters off and counteracting it, which I think is unrealistic. I could however imagine writing code that reads data from a gryroscope sensor thingy, which would then turn off the waist thrusters as soon as there is a slight shift. This would increase security, but I still think it's a hazard since you A) still have to counteract with arm thrusters & B) having your waist thrust turn off early on if you can't keep the right posture
@debjoybhowal1952
Жыл бұрын
@@furryalpacca8634 yes.. that might have a soultion with gyroscope.. but again i agree, the first test is still going to be very high risk. what if something fails. like the code might be setup like.. that the back thrusters only work at a particular angle range and gyroscope values.. but what if we are missing some edge cases. So the risk of trying out real life stuff based on calculation is the main issue.
@theaumguy1621
Жыл бұрын
@@furryalpacca8634 I really love people trying to think/talk about solutions for exact problems, even more so if they have knowledge about it. I can only agree with what you said.. maybe i have 2 soultions for that 1. Maybe its possible that the stronger thruster only works in pulses? so its not constant pushing you, only when a feet touches the ground? or at least have some buttons to controll the power output? or 2. Is it possible to make your body seem lighter without having such a huge thrust at the waist, by lowering the power but tilt it more upwards?
This is what happens when you're a KZreadr, an engineer, inventor, and a 6 year old kid at heart.

5:05 it looks like a bomb 😂
Man has never failed to impress me
This was epic bro. That looks like sooo much fun. Definitely need to try this on skis, or on skis in the snow. Maybe even skates on ice, or the Teflon on ice. There's so much you can do with this. Lol Great video buddy
dude that wing and arm jet combo has to be able to be made into an actual flight thing. that would be so cool!

Just look up the latest jetpacks they already have it made into a product. Pretty insane really, doesn't even need a wing with the proper jet engines thrust capabilities. Only uses jets on the arms.
There's a dream team of youtubers like him out there that if they all worked together we'd have anime irl get like allan pan, nile red, the hacksmith team and ididathing all together with a few others and we'd live in anime and have actually fun and cool ways of traveling without destroying the atmosphere, just sending dust and pebbles at people's windows instead
Their neighbors every time they test at home : it’s a bomb 💣
Crazy how to go faster you’re using less traction whereas track runners use spikes to gain more traction and avoid slipping. Good stuff man!!
6:56 Teflon is actually what the Flashes suit is made out of
I laughed so hard when he fell. Now I feel bad. It’s like sonic vs metal sonic
My dude tore his "arachnophobia"😂 11:54
Love it! Usain sustains that speed for 80m, though, not one frame :) Really puts into perspective his power.
Hey, just a few random questions I would really appreciate an answer to. 1 ) would you be able to go faster using Aluminum Magnesium Boride? 2) would it be possible to create a small material that can allow you to speed run on water kinda like a superhero speedster 3) hypothetically, if u could switch the base of your shoe from Teflon into another material, what would be the best one to increase friction and give you a sudden or strong stop (perhaps even give enough grip to allow for a 90⁰ climb) . (I'm assuming rubber, but would love your opinion on this) Thank you

I would also make a suggestion of having something to increase friction on certain places in the bottom of the shoe to make it easy to continue running when you want or stop when you need to

@@slasher3582 I believe roller shoes (the original heelys) had something like that. A stopper at the very front.
I loved seeing the Nick Symonds collab!
that segue was great
I like that you show the iterative process from failures to improvement.
7:49 he rocking that Fortnite back pack
LOLOL "you don't even have insurance" . The response "they don't need to know that"
1:30 sounds like a Star Wars ship flying xD
Mount thrusters to your back point at 45 degree angle. Basically, half of the thrust would push you up and half pushing you forward. That would allow you to pump your arms and run more naturally, but with an assist

100% this is the best idea but they should probably be a bit closer to parallel to the ground, prolly like 20 degrees. It works tho none the less
