The natural scenery where you are is so beautiful ❤
The problem with putting your notches on the bottom logs is this gives the water a place to pool up and cause rot that's why the notches are usually on the log above and rolled over to sit on the log below.

Well before men had tarps sod roofs keep family's dry for hundreds of years. Although that's not how to build a sod roof the way they did in reality. Split shakes made of pine are better and then clY tiles.

That’s what I commented, then I read your comment. That structure would have lasted twice as long if not longer if done the other way.

Чтобы крыша в домике на дереве не протекала-намотайте на ствол промасленную веревку.Она опустится и сама щели закроет.Только толстую берите и несколько обмоток сделайте)))

As a 54 year old builder. Soil is the hyway of termites. Only have it lead to wood you never wanna see again.

Ребята, а почему вы делаете паз и зарезку под угол в нижнем бревне. Влага с бревна будет стекать и оставаться в пазу и углу. И все сопреет быстро.

I have to admire the Russian males.... They R actually men that can do things even with cheap chinese tools too!!! Hats off nobody in America wants war with Russia... I would rather hang out & help these guys.... Somebody pick out a real Russian woodsman quick so I can send some Russian woodsman a Christmas gift.... Might be expensive but I would love to give a real man in Russia a tool for Christmas. The Russian ppl are talented like Americans used to be... I think we could end wars like this permanently.

That’s a good way to burn down all that hard work. Wrong flu pipe for a wood burning stove. That gets way too hot.
Чашку рубят на верхнем бревне, чтобы влага не попадала в чашку. Вместо гвоздей использовать нагели при крепеже бревен.
