1:10 you need to put the pressurizer right before the machines since the only thing it does is increasing the lava/water pressure to the same as the intake pipe but each pipe still lowers the pressure

I would add it's only necessary after a long track of pipes, each pipe only lowers the pressure by a little bit.

Video 2 of telling RCE that the power pipe just sets the pressure to the same as the input pipe so it does nothing if you place it right after the input. Should place it where the pressure is getting low in the system.

You can change the amount the hardstone bricks are worth ( Not in money but how much it requires to make one and whatever number you pick that will be how much the brick holds, this makes building the buildings in town easier to build because you could put a brick of hardstone that has 200 in it into a box for making a building or whatever the amount of hardstone the building requires to be built so you don't have the pain of playing Tetris with the hardstone bricks.) Hopefully this helps you if you find this comment also you can type the numbers into the side of the brick maker for desired amount of hardstone that is required to make a brick.

These episodes are not long enough Matt. They need to be at least 25 to 28 minutes. So they take up my whole lunch break. Please, please & one more please for good measure 😀😀👍

Hi RCE, you can throw everything in a crucible now and you won't lose resources. The stuff that isn't the material the crucible is going to smelt just falls through.

I tried playing this game and this game is so grindy 3 hours in I'm still in starting area mainly because i kept making sure that everything is symmetrical with the rake Props to you for playing this grindy game

How did you changed the place of letting go the shard bar from your right to where crosshair is ? Never seen such an option (just as never read a lot of update patchnotes ...) . Also , as I know , this shard bar tube should be on the other end , almost at the drill , to make pressure just as at start

That’s not how the crystal powers work. At the beginning right after the intake pipe, the water(lava in this case) the pressure will be max. So if it is 100 pressure it will be like 97 at the end of the next pipe. What the crystal thing does (YOU’D KNOW IF YOU IF YOU READ THE TOOL TIP) it boosts the pressure up to the max of the input pipe. So you can (theoretically) have the max input pipes on there and then put the crystal booster right before your drill and it should run at max even if you have the basic pipes between the crystal booster and intake pipes. I recently bought the game and I love it. How are you removing maintenance?

Hi, RCE! Just picked up this game a few days ago because of you, and I'm very glad my potato of a laptop can run it. Something I noticed early on: your pressure booster is at the *start* of your pipe system, which is poor engineering (I'm sorry I had to say that, but it's the truth). I recently learned that it increases the pressure to match the intake, so if you put it at the start, the pressure is already high, so you're losing efficiency. For maximum efficiency, you should plumb the booster *directly* into the machine using it whenever possible. It might mean a more complicated layout, and you'd need a lot more shard bars to run it all, but ultimately that's how you run your operation at 100%. I'm still in the early game, but I've upgraded all but the actual machines to tier 2, and I have no conveyor system at present, but I have a digger, a refiner, a sorter, and a gem compressor. I'm ready to move to a bigger field (the one by the sea) so I can start improving my yields. Once I'm a decent bit into that, I'll consider buying the DLC so I can go through the early game Hell again, this time with actual lava so it'll feel even more like Hell.😅

FYI, the pressure has cutoffs, so for example, any pressure over 180 maxes out a t1 drill, t2/t3 has a bump at around 210 and another bump around 370. This staircase graph means you want to make sure all your drills are on the highest stair you can, but doesn't require a booster per drill in the vast majority of cases, just make sure the last drill in the line it's pressure is high enough. Pressure also matters a lot more in the base game than DLC, since in the DLC you start with the equivalent to t2 pipes and a t2 intake (@ 250 PSI) where anything above 210 will be roughly equivalent, which is out to about 16 pipe pieces beyond a booster.
