21:00 Lol, this is a reference to Motherload: Goldium Edition (The game this is copying/remaking), if you go high into the air, you get a series of messages from a Mr. Dog, one at 5000 feet that gives you $5000, then another at 10,000 feet that gives you a guardian angel that halves all damage taken.

That is literally just that old flash game motherload under a new name. They even recycled much of the graphics.

The Dev behind this game is a fan of Motherload. But when super motherload came out he felt that the game got oversimplified. So as a dev, he did the right thing, make his own version of motherloaf fixing what went wrong.

Thanks for making such an amazing video about my game! You were so close to getting the special dialogue when returning to the base after being shot by the military... I also want to say that I am a fan of Motherload and I did not like the way all its clones were going, as @TheCharkan correctly mentioned. I took the core gameplay from Motherload, but I have not stolen any IP (the core gameplay is not IP), nor recycled any graphics from Motherload (seriously? Ad Fundum is a pixel-art game while Motherload is not), all of the graphics have been made from scratch. In addition, Ad Fundum has its own story, setting, music, and style, as well as a lot of gameplay mechanics. Just play Motherload (which is still available on the web) and then try the demo of Ad Fundum (yes, this is only the demo. The full game has not been released yet) to see the differences yourself. Also, the demo features only 1 location that doesn't include any special mechanics, but the next 7 locations are where the real action begins)

I am a huge fan of the original motherload. This version does not feel like it is its own unique game. I really do hope you follow through with your ambitions and set yourself apart.

Just wait for the full version of Ad Fundum to be released in the next couple of months, and then you can see for yourself how much more expanded and enhanced the experience is.

I can't think of single game dev that has actively got in the comments of a youtubers video trying to defend their game from trolls online lmao

Nerd fact: a single word or character all alone after a full line of text like that is called an orphan. The same thing but at the top of a page is called a widow. Graphic designers hate them even more than engineers do

Btw I tried this game after watching you playing it! Nice one! Another things that I found out, after you get za-pped on 8000m above sea level, before you almost crash, do use parachute. They will give you $25000 cash, because the lawyer is good, able to let you off the hook, also the machine is working fine, and asked for the military some money because they zapped you. If it crashed, you won't get it because you need to pay it back

One look at the little helicopter and I knew this is a re-skin of motherload.

I feel the game is much more interesting if you turn on the option where you die if you run out of fuel.

Game hint - for 30 grand, if you fly so high that the air force shoot you down - use a repair kit and spare fuel to land safely, after that you can get $30 compensation from the air force.

That is hardly fair. It's a game in the same genre, and heavily inspired by Motherlode, on account of the developer being a huge fan. But calling it a clone is disingenuous at best.

This game is an almost carbon copy of an old Flash game called Motherload. Use to play it all the time in IT class. XD It's almost identical, except you could consider Motherload as a Roguelike-style where dying was a lot easier, and because obviously we're talking about a game that's gotta be 15 years old by now, a lot less upgrades. But hey. Memories!
