You are one of the most interesting KZreadrs I’ve been following recently, you have the old KZreadr vibe of doing whatever you think is interesting and sharing it with us. Something that is so refreshing in the realm of super optimized highly specific channels that just pump out the same video over and over. When I saw your video, I immediately jumped to view it. Probably speaking more? 😂 There are meetups for that, traveling helps and working for international companies. I am more focused on improving understanding spanish speakers instead of speaking myself.

Please don't stop making content even with the low traction. Your videos are way too good and of top quality and there's no way you won't be rewarded for your efforts eventually

This is a fantastic sounding project. I want to learn Japanese and saw in your other comments that it's not included due to the characters. Although, I've thought about learning German, because that's what's in my blood, or Spanish because, to me, these the unofficial second language in the Stateand would like to be able to communicate with more people. My bro also wants to learn Spanish so Thai might be an option for us both to use so that we can learn it. Out if curiosity, do you still use Pimsleur? I had used it at one point to try to learn Japanese and was enjoying it. I felt it was working but life happens and I haven't been able to try it again.

Great to hear that! I only use babbel (rarely) and dreamingspanish (quite a bit), but mostly just watch spanish content by now. I understand most things pretty well at this point.

A tool called „Screen Studio“ created by an indie developer, only availavle for mac. It‘s really cool :)

@@tillmusshoff nice. Cloud or self-hosted supabase. Supbase is great, I thought about using it myself for a project, but the data limit can get pretty expensive when serving a lot of media. For paid services like yours should be fine.

Does this program do Japanese because Spanish is too easy. Also I use desktop to learn languages so does this support or is this mostly mobile. Lastly for api calls to Dalle 3 I heard it cost around $4.00 per 100 images was wondering if you cut cost by recycling the images of other users and do you plan to do a conversation mode. Thanks

So far it doesn‘t do japanese, because other alphabets pose a challenge I wasn‘t ready to integrate yet. Your assumption about the Dalle costs is correct and yes I will recycle images between users to cut these costs and also make flashcard generation faster. The chatbot already supports conversation mode in writing (not speaking, although you could always use a dictation program).

The girl will disappear, but Lenguia will stay loyal!

@@tillmusshoff You know what, Till? Let me be honest. I was head-over-heels with a wonderful girl living in Venezuela. I rejected her because I feared a long-distance relationship. She wrote me such wonderful, hand-illustrated letters full of cute cartoons and hope, and we Skyped every few days. My heart was convinced, and my hard-headed rational self told me to take a chance. Two weeks before she was due to fly here so we could start a life together, I had a dream that she died. Her communication became more erratic and then I discovered - of course - that she'd cheated on me and ended our relationship after stringing me along for a year. All the hope was gone and I almost decided to end my life. It took me some years to recover. Today, I just consider her a lesson. I say all this because in the end, we love all that you give here, and feel defensive for your well-being. I want it to work for you. I wish you the best.

“Mara’s” make for the most wonderful girlfriends. Keep her around ;)
