I built a LAVA TRAIN in Minecraft Create Mod!

Ойындар

I built a LAVA TRAIN using Create Mod in Minecraft! We finally have a Train that transports Lava from the Nether Lava Factory to the overworld and even all the way to the Mesa Station! What do we call this Train?

you should use various shades of oxidized waxed copper. that would break up the pure copper look and make it seem as if the train has been in service for a few years.

The copper theme is fantastic! To intensify the fiery aspect of the Ember Express, consider maybe incorporating coal blocks, obsidian and perhaps magma blocks. These blocks could create the illusion of extreme heat and also align perfectly with the train's journey to the Nether and the fact that it’s transporting Lava. 12:17

ALEC!! This comment is golden and I am going to see how I can add those blocks to the design. Love the idea of Obsidian and magma blocks. I really appreciate this suggestion and keep an eye out for the transformation!

Hey Deo! Okay my comment below was made just after your question. Watched the rest of the video and I see we had the same idea 😉 Cant wait to see what you do in the Mesa! Love the train! And I have to agree, too much copper, my suggestion is to: Keep the copper tanks and change the blocks around it. Maybe use the same dark blocks you have used in the front of the train, place them on the 'roof' of the lava tanks, and maybe the bottom... like it gets dirty or 'burnt' from the Nether? The trap doors: maybe a texture with vertical lines like its straps keeping the tank on the train bed?

Hey Sandy, Halway through building the next bits I chose to change the Tankers. Think they do look better now, but think you nailed so points that I might just still add to the Train. Thank you so much. I appreciate your comment and suggestions so much!

Deepslate on top and dark oak on bottom would really add some flare, alternative to deepslate would maybe be dark prismarine

Portable flued interfaces reach over 2 blocks. having them on the outside rather than the middle makes the Tankers look Bad.

Hey deosil, another awesome episode. The dark trim does look better. something that made the bottom look burnt up or muddy, so this does work. The train does look amazing. I was thinking for your power station have you seen Battersea power station? Obviously on a smaller scale, I think it would fit in quite nicely in your area. Anyways my friend another brilliant episode I always look forward to the next one

Works just like in Factorio. 😅Of course I always make double track rail networks so I can always have trains coming and going. With a single track, the trains will have to wait a long time for the track to be clear before they can leave a station unless you build many bypasses.

  • @Deosil25

Do not mention Factorio.... I might get hooked on it again and stop playing MC for a bit... 🤣 VisSovereign, I hope to add more trains to the Mesa area soon, and when that happens I will be adding bypass points to the track for sure. Think I just need to Expand the Mesa Factories first. I appreciate your comment and suggestions, and happy to have you as part of the community.

I would make the lava tanks on the train one piece instead of having the pipes in between if possible and maybe shorten them a bit they look a little too tall/square. Maybe add some dark accents like you have on the engine. But I really like how everything is coming together. P.S I like the dark accents you added maybe add a bit more I think the copper is just over powering.

Thanks for adding me to the wall. I love the darker trim on the train, also i think if the oxidation gets to the just slightly green stage might look good. You can always revert back to orange before waxing it. I would have thought that as a contraption it would not have oxidised.

Might I suggest using chipped Netherrack to contrast the copper on the train? It'll be darker, still have the red tones for lava, and be thematic. Additionally, there's the possibility of netherbrick or red netherbrick, also put through the chipped workbenches.

Very good job, nice video. I built something similar, but I have a problem. Everything works correctly when I'm present - in the nether when loading lava and in the overworld when unloading. But if I wait in the overworld for the arrival of the train from the nether, the train is empty without lava. Conversely, if I wait in the nether, the train arrives full of lava. I tried to put on both stations chunk loaders, but this doesn't help me. Don't know where the problem is? Thanks !

  • @Deosil25

    @Deosil25

    2 ай бұрын

Hey Martinbily, Welcome to the channel and glad you liked the Video. SO the problem that comes to mind is Chunk Loading. You will have to load the Chunks in the Nether and the overworld. Trains can travel in and out of unloaded chunks, but stuff like pumps, pipes and so forth stop working if chunks are not loaded. If you are using the Mr. Beardstone Modpack. Then you can activate chunk loading by going into the map, and at the top left it will say Claim Chunks. Enter that and in there you can also se chunks to be force-loaded. Hope this helps.
