I'm loving the fact that you kept in your mistakes in the video. It helps those of us just starting to know that mistakes happen and to not get disheartened. Keep going!!!!

I love the wall full of French cleats and cedar you have done. It is beautiful. the toolbox shelves are awesome! I love them! But the rest of it like the magnet strips with tools attached to them make it look very messy and I would do the same thing if I didn't watch your video. Thanks for the video it helps me see what not to do and do that. My suggestion for them tools on magnet strips is to set them up so you can tell if one tool or more is missing because your way you will lose them. But keep up the great work and there is more room for improvement!

consider a thin piece of wood under one end of your plane, so you can store it flat without it resting on the blade.

Nice video but, I only wish your fast forwards were not so fast so I could easily see exactly what you are doing. Looks like a good job and has given me some ideas for my area. Thanks.

Your cleat wall might warp or panels pop out as there are no gaps between the panels to allow the wood to expand based on humidity and temperature through out the year. Looks good

great looking setup!! How aren the Harbor Friegt magnets working for you on the heavier tools? I'm worried that if I use them they may not be strong enough and I would be continually fighting tools dropping off. Was thinking of buying strong magnets, dato out a groove and gluing hem in.

The only tool that is to heavy that I have on mine is the torque wrench, but I kinda hook it on the top so that it stays on.

This is awesome! What thickness was the plywood used to make the French cleats themselves? Also, do the “shelves/ holders” you make need to be made with same thickness wood? Agree with everyone else about the cedar backdrop. Brilliant!

Thank you! I used 3/4 plywood for the french cleats and 1/2" plywood for the shelves you can used whatever thickness of wood you want for the shelves
