I Built a Homemade Go-Kart from Trash
Ойын-сауық
I show you how I built my homemade Go-Kart from other people's garbage.
FAQ:
Q - How fast does it go?
A - It went up to 50km/h.
Q- What is the HP?
A- 6,5HP
Q - No brakes?
A - I actually did find a scooter disk brake, but it didn't fit the axle, and I was running out of time to modify the frame. It was extremely dangerous, I do not recommend anyone to do so. Luckily for me my Go-Kart slowed down considerably fast.
Q - What is the song?
A - Can't Stop Won't Stop let me use their song "Up and Away". Check them out : / cswsmusic
Q - Would a Lawn Mower engine work?
A - Yes, but it gets a lot more complicated and I have no idea how to do that. I really recommend finding a horizontal shaft engine.
Q- Did you literally dive into your project blind folded?
A- One of my first times trying the Go-Kart, I wanted to film a POV shot... I didn't have an action cam, so I mounted my DSLR onto my helmet, which blinded my vision. DO NOT TRY, I've never been that scared driving a Go-Kart in my life.

however, I had looked up other power sources such as using a drill motor but I only got 3 wheels and the body of my go kart is small as in the with but not the length and the one single wheel ( the 3rd one) that goes in the back is going to be used as my steering system ( do to my brother's old scooter that I have harvest some of the parts from) but what should I use to hold the two front tires ( they are all bike tires, aside from the scooter wheels) to prevent them from falling off and preventing them from breaking the bike tires that I harvested from my 2 somewhat broken bikes ?

hey, so in the last few weeks or so, i have assembled some parts for my go kart but can i make a pvc pipe strong enough to support weigh? (and if so,) how? i was going to try with a copper pipe but my friends told me that it would break easily and that i can end up crashing and maybe getting hurt. But if not, what cheap (but good) metal pipe would you recommend?
Such a beautiful film, Ben! It was well worth the wait I think. Your editing is absolutely spot on (as always). Félicitations! Looking forward to seeing more from you. :)
Awesome kart would love to see more videos of it!
Absolutely love the character this thing has! hahaha best thing, that the steering wheel was at a different angle in each shot - even though you were going straight xD Killer build man, good work!

+Vein Nebula lol Brandon is completely right. I only say that from experience. Check out my build on my channel, when I first built it, I had 16inch tires and a 6.5 clone. I swapped for the tires I have now, which are about 7 inches and I get about 92 mph top speed (I eventually swapped the engine) I think that smaller tires are worse for speed in general, but when you have a small go kart with a 4-6 hp engine you need small tires. You simply just don't have enough torque.
You sound like PewDiePie.
That was so awesome! I liked the fact you used other people rubbish instead of buying new parts.

the actual governed speed of the engine is 3600rpms and without the governor up to 10,000 which is higher than a car engine. the engine isn't slow on any snowblower or lawnmower, its the gear ratios that make it slow.
