Please Please PLEASE add a metal mesh guard around the cockpit. If one of those propeller blades break during flight it could absolutely take your life. Another KZreadr tragically died in a self made helicopter when one of the rotor blades snapped off and struck him. Please be safe 🙏🏽

I love engineering and though I've bult plenty of drones and contraptions in my life, tackling a project like this seems insurmountable, and yet here you are doing it. I respect your ability to reach out to right people with the right resources to make your goals happen. I've only just seen this video, but I think I really look up to you for that. Excellent work so far! I’ve been working on my own project for a while. One thing you may want to consider in your design is the ground clearance of your propellers. With any roll or pitch during take off and landing you could potentially destroy your props. Something else to consider is your motor poles are mounted via 3d printed brackets on the interior of your frame. Maybe consider mounting them external of the frame so the frame can offer resistance and stability if the pole in case the brackets fail. I apologize if I sound critical just trying to be helpful to a fellow dreamer. 😊

Not an engineer. Not a pilot. But a thought. The folding brackets seem to be an extremely weak point. A carbon tube that would slide INSIDE the main tube (through the bracket point) could be used to add to that structural rigidity. Slide it in and out via a cable/spring/lever when needed or not.

Perhaps best to have thrust plane/dimension above pilot. This will aid in structural integrity under load. This is not the only way but just a way. In any case, keep pressing forward and enjoy the journey of discovery. Cheers!!

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. I could never afford college and didn't wanna go into debt, but I've been running my own business and starting to tinker with things and create in the meantime. This video was amazing and such a big push into the realm of engineering as a hobby. So cool.

You'll learn TONS more by what you are attempting now vs college. Even if you completely fail at your entrepreneurship the experience from turning your ambitions into reality is very valuable. Failures are to be expected but you can learn from each to continually improve until successes are manifested!

As I like to think money does help.. Investing in a dream and the pathways to open those dreams via hard work and dedication with a strong commitment to your dream is needed. Not blowing money on useless things and being smart about finances thats how you can get to where he is. I make less than 20k a year... and I can still do my projects and live my dreams and goals. Being rich doesn't make your dreams.. money does help though.

As an engineer, love the project and the effort. As a pilot and aviation guy, would say build around CG (center of gravity) for stability. Keep CG below thrust/lift vector.

3 Safety of flight suggestions: 1 Replace the motor pole hinges with a telescoping pole so you don't have to have a hinge on a major load bearing member. 2 Consider how much the aircraft can pitch and roll while it is near the ground. The propellers are not very high off the ground and their tips are very far out. That means that the aircraft can not roll or pitch very much or land on anything but perfectly level ground without a strike. 3 Add a BRS Parachute. Besides those critical issues, remember when the aircraft is flying forward the relative wind will be coming from the front and down, so I am worried the aerodynamic tail faring will act more like a parachute. Having two different color lights right next to each other on the same motor mounts will blend into 1 from a distance. PLLLEEEAAASSSEEE be safe and do lots of testing/peer reviews, follow industry standards and consult experienced experts in the aerospace industry
