The difference is they actually get things done in vids. They don’t drag them out over many episodes or make stupid cuts to unfunny jokes. And they choose good camera angles. They’re the whole package like top gear with the trio. Without the stig, the blokes, the camera angles etc they wouldn’t be anywhere near as popular it’s about the whole package.

I though, have been in body repairs for over 25 years, and been trained by some of the best car engineers in the business, so if you fancy any real advice, please get in touch. As with your latest BMW M3 quater panel, you should reverse the impact before you cut any of the outside panles off, also cover EVERYTHING when using a grinder, those sparks are glowing red hot, and will weld themself to anything they hit, glasss, cloth, paint, then rust later !!!! Just a bit of experience telling you. Cheers Stu.

My guess is this. The 4wd has a rear bias, they lost the back end and started to spin. Just goes go show. The number of crash damaged cars on the road that insurance companies have repaired and so haven't given them a category 'S'. Lots of people say I'd never buy a crash damaged repaired car. If the insurance company paid for it to be repaired, how would you know?

Former traffic cop here... its most likely the BMW was travelling NW on Gunthorpe Ridings (at speed) and lost control over the surface change at the junction of Caldbeck Close. its a right hand sweeper at that point so you are into a clockwise spin over the surface change (fits with the damage and final position). About 60m to the impact with the house, so 70-80mph most likely. There are witness marks on the pavement (you have to look closely) which indicates the car went in sideways and was still spinning as it hit the house. This likely made the damage worse on the rear end as the car was rotating into the corner of the garden wall. Its hit the house and come to an almost dead stop, its rolled back about 2 feet post impact. HTH.
