I Bought A Liquid Damaged Switch On Purpose! Let's Fix It! I spent $175 on this damaged Switch and initially it didn't actually look too bad. There was only minor liquid damage that had to be cleaned up and it also needed the battery replace. Once that was done the Switch was back to working like it should... except the left joy-con wouldn't connect. Turns out it had some liquid damage too... even more than the actual Switch. After lots of cleaning the left joy-con is finally working again too and another device is saved from the landfill!

Did you think I'd be able to fix it?
$175 is kind of an exorbitant price for a liquid damaged Switch given that it can have bad screen, bad battery, bad controllers, fried SoC (or entire motherboard) and be irrepairable.
"I consider it sorta like my haircut, it isn't pretty but it doesn't have to be" LOL
"I have saved another device from the landfill" I think that phrase is more powerful than anyone can think at the beginning, true to the core you are saving a device by fixing it. Great jokes, keep it up! Cheers to you and your family!
In the spirit of DankPods: "SOMEONE'S BEEN IN HERE"
Great job, 🤴 king of game repairs.
interesting how you said liquid damaged, not water. did the seller purchase nekopara
Looks like someone took their switch into the bathtub lol
That was extremely satisfying.
I have to say, over the course of the past two or three months, I've been watching more and more of his videos, and sometimes, he's able to do what he did here, and other times, he's unable to repair the devices, and they have to be used for parts. However, the one thing I appreciate above all is his thoroughness. He really looks at each problem from every angle, until he's ruled out all possible causes. It really makes these videos enjoyable to watch, b/c you never know how far he'll have to go to fix one of these consoles, but regardless, he'll do whatever it takes to either fix the problem, or understand what's wrong w/ the consoles he's unable to fix.
I feel like the price was pretty high for a known liquid damaged (one of the worst types of general damage) and non-booting Switch. It's more than 50% of the price of a brand new device straight from a store. This was a device that would be a total goner for a person without fixing skills, equipment, and spare parts (the battery), which ought to be why it was sold in the first place. The seller was really lucky you could use a patient just like this for one of your videos!
He literally finds the most screwed up devices he can and I love it
I found you yesterday and can’t stop watching! You are amazing, my friend. Thanks!
"It's automatic at this point", just like hitting the like button. :p
Great Job! You make it all look so "user doable"...fantastic service you're providing to the tubing public so do keep 'em coming!!
The Switch is adorable. I just love how fun and compact it is, even inside! That tiny little cooling fan is really cool (pardon the pun). Thanks for sharing!
Bro this mans a legend
One of the biggest problems of today is E-waste, so I'm really happy that you show people that things can be fixed. Keep up the great work.
"Saved another from the landfill", really appreciate what you're doing! Keep it up :)
I’m loving this two video a week schedule! Love these videos
