Yeah agreed. The way I see it is this is a great tool for pros and semi-pros who want to practice over-the-board chess more frequently. Also could be heavily used in tournaments.

Not good for bullet or blitz for sure, but it wouldn't be too big of a problem in rapid with increment, e.g. 15+10 like I usually play.

My first experience with Martin, he was actually unbeatable. There was some bug, where every bot was playing maxxed out until I updated the app.

This board could be great for practicing over the board chess at home or without having to go to events. Can see it really helping out professional players and players who are trying to become professional

First time I saw line that levy did not lol. The rook was used to capture the pawn to prevent a fork.

Levy can you try this where the opponent reaches a position, where a pawn is about to promote but the catch is if it promotes to a knight instead of a queen its winning. I'm very curious what it'll do.

I love this video levy the board is absolutely super cool and is definitely the beginning of a new way to play chess and I think in the short future they will set up auto moves so you don't have to move your opponent's pieces too

Will get into time problems using this board in blitz and bullet games. It amazed me at first glance though.

The first brilliant move performed on this board was turning it off. Some real lateral thinking there.

What that board needs is a magnet system that automatically slides the enemy pieces to position according to the moves your opponent makes

Interesting. One thing, the online board doesn't appear to mirror the selected piece legal move indicators shown on the board when you touch/hold a piece. Could be wrong, hard to tell.

If you're playing online, wouldn't you have to move for both players? Meaning not only are you moving manually, but you're also moving your opponent manually, so you're time is gonna tank with tc. Bullet or blitz, maybe even rapid would be hell against someone playing on a screen
