If you like that body. You should look into getting the tamiya GT4 body made for the 30th anniversary TT-02. Has front and rear 3D looking light buckets. You can even put a light kit in them. Really has nice body details

Bizarre to me that the bl2s 4tec is $50 cheaper than the 3S version and yet the 3S version has better everything. Electronics, wheels, bellcrank, turnbuckles, etc.

I dont get it either. This bl-2s stuff from them. Just get a vxl and you can run 2 and 3s. This is dumb..

I did the same thing with my 4tec vxl, made a mini Vette version of my full size Vette!

Definitely a clean car, may have to get one some day

Get the Supra tail pipe tips and install them on this body. I did that and love it.

This 4 tech bl2s kit has been out for awhile now. My LHS has had them for about a month. We’ve sold a few of them.

Traxxas is long overdue for a radio update! i like the features of the TQi w/Bluetooth, but the design is going on two decades of a cheap plastic feeling transmitter that is right-hand only.

I'm now thinking about getting a BL-2s or VXL 4-tec 2.0 in the next couple of months. I plan to get a Ford GT body for it just not sure what i'll paint it if i get a clear one, I'm a little unsure about the BL-2s vs VXL for price since i'll most likely pull the stock radio never been a fan TQ\TQI radios then the stock esc and motor to make room for a Castle combo.

Mark, back the white paint with metallic silver or metallic clear. It will pop.

What is the numbers on the paints that you used on the Mustang, I like how it came out. I have a clear SummitLink vortex 4x4 body I want to paint white.

Now paint up a camaro and have evil feud. The stang needs blue stripes.

Are there any truck bodies that fit the 4-tec vxl? Will any 1:10 body work?

I've wanted to build a custom mustang in honor of my father. Maybe this winter. No idea if I want Traxxas or Arrma as the chassis. I do know it has to go fast 😊

Take the diffs apart and put fluid in them because Traxxas doesn’t like to put enough fluid in

@@Havingoneofthosedays- I never had a problem with the tires coming unglued on a 4tec but I have 10 4tecs and every one never comes with enough diff fluid I’ve been using 20k fluid in mine but I only use them on a carpet oval

@@Jjsuhs7 you must have got lucky. It’s like Traxxas can’t do no wrong. Almost cult like. I’ve got a lot of links. One is the most famous rc KZreadr out there showing 1mm of glue. And as for diffs. Guess it depends on the day or car. My xmaxx and earlmoorhead’s were almost empty. Man, seems like Traxxas can’t do no wrong. But I’ll pipe down. I don’t want to get sued for slander or owning HBO Max 😂

Drives me crazy that Traxxas couldn't design this body and the Corvette body, without the screw in the back body panel. Thx for the vid

The new x-maxx ultimate is what's new from traxxas, I just watched the rustler n was like x-maxx will be way better but traxxas said x-maxx and xrt ultimate

Hi Mark can i ask you a question, just bought a 2nd hand vxl for my son but it is eating spurs like crazy. Do you maybe know what i can be doing wrong . He is running it at 2s, and the mesh in my opinion cant go wrong. Thanks in advance Dirk
