Do you need to add butter flavored shortening? Can I just add more butter instead? Shortening is so bad for you. I meant for your health. Actually I only use organic grass fed butter.

Got a little choked up reading your comments about your grandmother. My mom has been gone since 2001 and there are plenty of times I still forget she's gone when I want to ask her a question about something or other, usually cooking. Like your Grandma Barb, my mom was a fabulous cook. At any rate, I will definitely be trying this recipe. Looks delicious!

Wow these turned out amazing my first time ever, Thankyou! I had to buy the cookbook cause your recipes are the bomb. If you can help me make biscuits from scratch, that was the final motivation I needed lol

This is how I make my biscuits, except I never used cream cheese before.

I would spread with garlic butter on top of a little bit of oregano and you would have some Red lobster cheddar biscuits😋

Yeahhh...she's the goat of biscuit recipes. Literally the best :)

The narration of your voice by itself sweetened me, you have such a velvety, smooth voice, like wow, you should have been on a radio show…buuuuuut I don’t think we would have gotten this recipe, though, either! Thank you for this! I love biscuits, and seeing as I don’t have my grannies recipe yet (I like to do things in the kitchen in person where I can see hands moving, and she’s 6 1/2 hours away from me) the way yours looks, I gotta try it out! I like to have at least two to three variations of one recipe in my book, in case I don’t have certain ingredient(s) on hand. Thank you again, much love!

I am going to have so much fun trying your recipes. I looked up Chicken fried steak because being from Canada that's not a thing here at least not on the East coast. I'm going to try that first and then binge watch your videos. You can teach an old dog new tricks. I'm 64 and love learning new recipes especially from great young cooks who follow in the footsteps of their moms and grandmoms like I used to. God bless you hon. You have a great channel
