I Act Out 50 Advanced Movement Verbs | English Vocabulary (Action Verbs)

In this video I act out 50 advanced English movement verbs. You could also call these action verbs. Even people with quite an advanced level in English often don't know this vocabulary. Hopefully seeing these acted out will help to fill some gaps!

Extremely useful vocabulary. Some words are dificult. Some words are difficult to understand by looking them up in the dictionary. I bought your Udemy vocabulary course with 400 words. I think if you create another one with more words with advanced levels C1 and C2 i will by. My vocabularies have been increasing a lot in the last few months when I discovered your channel and your courses.❤

Gratev video, Max! You rock! In my linguage (Brazilian Portuguese), we informally use our verb equivalent to "drink" (beber) to mean the consumption of fuel by a car. It's usual to say things such as "My car is drinking too much fuel".Of course, this means my car is consuming too much fuel. In English, I've never seen drink to be used like that. Is there any verb similar to drink that can be informally used in this way? Maybe guzzle, Im not sure Thank you.

  • @EnglishwithMax

Thanks, Artur! Yes, we use "guzzle" :D (informally). We also often refer to a car that uses a lot of fuel as a "gas-guzzler".
