I'm still a kid so my opinion isn't completely relevant, but I totally agree. Nobody complains when Pop Music artists like Taylor Swift or Bruno Mars start dating someone, but when a kpop artist does, "YOU CAN'T DO THAT! You're an idol, don't you realize what kind of an image you're setting?" Most of the time these dating rumors aren't even true, and even if they are, who cares? They're adults, let them do what they want, let them live their life.

Jype claim to care about their artists but they barely do😭 im so serious, they get almost no security at airports so the idols get mobbed, they dont take action against the defamation their idols face on a daily basis (e.g skz), they mistreat their groups (jype has history with mistreating boygroups such as got7), etc. This recent announcement was posted so that stays will stop demanding for the idols' protection against malicious comments. This wasn't the reason why he left (and we will most likely never know). But what we do know, is that he betrayed stray kids when he left, and also chan's dream of debuting & staying as 9 members, which is something he had to wait 7 years for it to happen. But they're very happy now as 8 members, and everyone is over it.

I really pity RIIZE, I've known this group more for their scandals than for their work. I've never seen a rookie group being dragged so much into controversies right from debut throughout each week without a pause. The fact that SM gave netizens the power to decide the fate of its artists to the point, that now netizens are trying it out on new groups such as Aespa and Stray Kids. I really see no wonder why real fans have decided to boycott everything altogether despite the big risk of the group possibly disbanding.

The whole matching couple outfits/jewelry thing always creeped me out, like why do you look for those things it’s giving stalker

I do think that sometimes it is important to take a step back and a break even from the things we love. I cut myself off from kpop for just over 2 years when we lost Jonghyun. I was devastated. This all-consuming environment can be a bit much and it is a pretty self-contained bubble. The break helped me gain a more mature perspective on the kpop fandom in general and I came back during the pandemic (admittedly because I needed the distraction) feeling hopeful and with a new outlook. Even though there hasn't been one big event effecting me, I'm definitely feeling more negatives than positives from the fandoms/news recently. It has become very tiring and frustrating and I feel as if I'm constantly being baited into reacting to all of this negativity. I think I'll go back to enjoying the music on my own for a little while 👋 Remember to take a break if you need to as well!

This is all terrible to hear. Stray Kids were already sad with Woojin leaving and now people are telling JYP to remove Hyunjin from the group when he did nothing to deserve all this hate! In my personal opinion, if Hyunjin does leave the group, Stray Kids would disband earlier then next year because of these rumors. All STAYs are probably so thankful to hear that JYP is taking care of the problem legally. As in for the dating rumors, I feel like Anton, Eunsok, and Sohee should not be apologizing about the dating rumors. Their friends shouldn't have posted apologies when they did nothing wrong! Same thing, dating shouldn't be much of a surprise in K-Pop since they are all grown women/men that just want their lives to be free and normal. They all did choose this path as a K-Pop idol, but I feel like they are starting to get uncomfortable for people starting to find private photos, info, etc. about them hanging out with their friends which are now considered girlfriends/boyfriends. Netizens should really learn how to not make and spread these rumors about K-Pop idols. All these problems netizens are creating can lead to some really bad and serious stuff as in K-Pop idols going on hiatus for more than 1 month. I think this is stupid and unmature. Dating should be normalized in K-Pop (in my opinion) because most of these K-Pop idols are grown women/men. They should have freedom with their own personal lives as in dating, family, friends, etc., which is what netizens are not allowing them to do. (Sorry if I seem like I'm hating on this, I am just in such disbelief about all this.) (I feel so proud of myself on writing this because I just typed all this without thinking.)

There’s so much toxicity in kpop anymore I don’t even want to listen much anymore because of the distractions around it. Imagine having to apologize for dating! It’s the weird ones who think they stand a chance and act like their in a relationship with the idol. Get therapy!

Different people we can’t all be grouped together. Sure there was a lot of people who wanted him gone but there were even more who thought and still do believe his whole situation was unjust since the beginning, me being one of them. What they did to him was totally unfair.

The only reasoning I can find regarding Hyunjin's hate is the haters are so jealous, so damn pathetic knowing they will never accomplish a single thing outside transforming Oxygen into Co2 that they need to hate just to feel better.

HERE'S MY RANT. COME ON, people in Korea need to get a life and stop this madness once and for all, GEEZ!!!!! Leave these guys alone and bring Seunghan back! Punish these people who are invading their privacy and let these Kpop guys and girls live they lives. Idols in their 20s can walk and chew gum at the same time, look at Chen from EXO as an example. These dating bans aren't working and SM knows they all sneak and date anyway, and unless they are robots they all had past lives before becoming an idol, so leave them alone! It's not rocket science people to understand that guys and girls want to date or hang out even while concentrating on their craft, and I contend that if allowed to it might be good for their mental health to not have to sneak around and to have people in their lives(other than their members) that they can tell and share their struggles with, because as we see their world becomes freakin insane when they become popular, and the mental health issues seem to start or get worse from all this pressure about every single little thing. They're hated for this and loved for that all at the same time, no wonder there's so many mental health struggles in Kpop. In the west there are issues with music stars, as we call them, but this is not one of them. Dating actually enhances their popularity, and we want to know more about them and listen to their music more so it actually helps their career. Netizens will be Netizens and I get this is Korea not the west, but everyone please take this one issue off the list and leave these idols alone!! Their just doing their best to entertain us all and be normal people so let them do that!! There you go SM, I just solved the problem. IT WASN'T THAT HARD!!
