Yeah fr, actually crazy to see her here if you ask every dancer they will for sure know the name, Bailey Sok. Probably one of the most established choreographers and performers out there having been part of well-known projects. For all we know she may be earning more than some 3rd and 4th gen groups so seeing her being a rumoured member is wild.

I doubt this group have 1 good vocalists, majority will definitely rely on stylistic approach.

Bailey already established a name in the dancing scene. I've been following her since we were kids, and she is the reason why i started dancing. She always wanted to be a choreographer, so I don't think she will join this group but if she does, I'll support her no matter what.

My only problem with this is how much power the chaebol, Annie, might have in the overall grand scheme of things. With one phonecall she can basically move mountains in Korea. If she doesn't like a song, they won't add it. If she doesn't wanna do a dance, they won't do it. If she wants a comeback with her group she can make it happen and fund it all herself. The entire industry will run to cater to her. She has so much power that I'm not even sure the power dynamics here are even a good thing. From what I've seen she seems like a really sweet and kind person though so maybe it'll all be good but it won't stop people from criticizing her very existence.

Now that you mention it, yea...that's kinna possible. Being an idol isn't just dancing, alot of busy schedules with other things besides dancing. She definitely might contribute on their own group choreography, but it also kinna feels like it'll get toned down while they focus on their idol life, especially considering her dancing career is quite established. But if the label makes good use of her dancing talent, they might try managing the time, but that also would depend on their popularity.

I'd argue she'd be THE best, lots of idols recieve just idol dance training and not much training in the U.S. where the biggest choreographers are, but she grew up in the environment and beyond succeeded in getting her name out there, I don't think anyone could match her skills.

Debuting a chaebol irks me honestly; its obviously not about money and it either she wants the fame or she genuinely wants to be a idol which is risky considering all the controversies; hate; overworking ect; no hate to the girl since we don't know her but what bothers me is that she's going to be untouchable; like both inside and outside of the company; she will get away with a lot of things ; no one wants to piss off a chaebol since if you do you're done here; we're talking about people who own 20% gdp of the freaking country here.

Ok imagine you have strong influence in the industry even before debuting or come from the richest family of the country. Honestly with the kinds of debts these companies put on young idols the rich ones are better off becoming idols than normal respectable ppl. Idk what the craze is nowadays of becoming a celebrity so young and compromising your education. I sound old af but I've just been seeing so many idols being clueless about things ppl learn in high school or even middle school. Like recently I came across this video of Jackson being in some sort of military variety show and he couldn't solve a 4th grade kid's math problem. The resumes of some of these people are fascinating. The choreographer has already lived 3 lives before the age of 20! Having a chaebol in the group is like something out of a webtoon! lol

At this point the rich kids are just getting bored of life and wanna debut for fun so that they can get fan's attention, brand deals, travel around the world and what not. They're already rich so I'm not spending money on them. I'd rather root for someone who has come from a humble background, has raw talent (with no connections) and genuinely wants to fulfil his/her dreams. I'm not saying these girls don't have talent, but I'm sure there are others with WAY more talent but are missing out on the opportunity coz nepo babies are always favoured by the higher ups

CL's dad is a famous Physics professor & her family tree consists of CEOs, Trial Court Judges, Gallery Directors, etc. Park Bom's dad was MedTech company CEO. Minzy's great grand aunt is Korea's legendary folk dancer. Dara was already a superstar in the Philippines. Let's not forget that BP members were also rumored to come from well-off families, I guess the "swag" commonly found in Teddy's GGs come from knowing that they're financially secure regardless of what happens hence they can just focus on perfecting their craft.

bailey sok is definitely a big name, but from the sound of it they are all models and nepo babies, im sure they will be popular, but its clear the group will not be very talented outside of bailey.

I just discovered Bailey Sok and decided to take a dive on her. I'm already a fan! She is like a base for the kpop industry working with all the big names like BTS, Blackpink, EXO, SHINee, Aespa, GOT7 etc etc and at just 14-20 yrs of age 😭Omg I just look up to her so so much, she's incredibly amazing.

It's over-saturated period. Too many of everything. A few groups have hit big overseas which, in turn, has triggered a stampede. Every two bit hustler in Korea is trying to get a piece of that pie. And the thing they don't realize is that Western audiences will eventually get bored with Kpop and, as they always do, move on to the next new, shiny thing. They always do. I give Kpop another year, then it's gonna fall of the map in America and Europe.

@@harryhanz1690 i gotta say tho that everyone has been saying it since bts started getting popular overseas in 2017. It's been 6-7 years now and kpop only got bigger and bigger. I think the popularity of kpop might decrease a bit in the future but it will be steady for a long time 🤷‍♀

BAILEY SOK??! I have mixed reactions to this, because I love her as a choreographer and wonder how she even has time to train to be an idol - I guess she doesn’t need dance lessons, so she can use that time for vocal training instead 😂

Man dance position is at top 1 level but I'm wondering how they're gonna deliver vocal position since none of us really seem to be vocally potential or It's just becuase none of their potential has been showed without Bailey. Excited about what they have to bring

if bailey debuts that'll be so insane. she's so talented, and if she debuts, she'll easily take the top spot as the best dancer. she can also choreograph, so maybe she could help with choreography?

Again how do you know that the rest arent skilled singers? and wrong they have exactly two skilled singers, Britney who has trained for years under TBL and Hanbuyl who was in a YG for a long while. May I remind you how many models and actresses can actually sing, but prefer not to take that route? meaning Ella can be pretty skilled, the only two would be Bailey and Annie

Man, imagine always being called new-(X group name) or little (x group name). Sure on one hand it's praise, but really also I cant imagine it being fun always only being known for and compared to someone else. I'm sure these ladies want their own fame, so let's give them their chance to establish their own name.

Exactly, the blacklabel has never been consistent with having actual skileld vocalists. Only taeyang stands out but he's nowhere near to older idols even in 3rd gen & 4th gen's xdh's juyeon's vocal skills. This group may be packed with "famous" people BUT their talent especially their vocals should be on par or at least better than other idols.

genuinely good question. Kpop limits itself in the west as just a fringe or niche interest because of weak vocalists. Having models, nepo babies, and child actors is a recipe for a hollow, zero substance group.

Kpop used to be a good influence on young kids. Girl bands brought the clean and innocent aesthetics, singing about friendship and first loves. They came from low to middle income families, which made them relatable, and their rise to fame inspiring. Now it's Nepo babies and wannabees singing only about Money, flexing on others, and look how I'm a bad bitch. I've banned Black Pink from my kids' playlist. Guess this is another group that they will not get to hear about. Give me more groups like New Jeans

It's a pass for me. Rich kids and knowing it will likely be only hip hop from Teddy aren't appealing. He needs to expand his musical range at some point or it will be 3 groups that are copies of each other. That's boring and a bit lazy to me. And I’m pretty sure Teddy’s looking to buy YG out of TBL, I think that’s why they’re moving out of YG’s building.

YALLLL. Let me say right now, if Bailey Sok is part of this group....she is not the best female dancer of this generation, she is the best female kpop dancer EVER - period. So many people act like kpop performers like Lisa are so amazing when in reality her competition in BP is so low it makes her stand out. That is not the same as being a real top tier dancer. Bailey is a REAL hardcore dancer, not a normal kpop trainee who just happens to be decent at dancing and has the label of "main dancer" pushed on them. She will blow every other single "main dancer" out of the water by a mile, even YooA - who is honestly one of the top kpop dancers and matches up with her choreographer brother really well. Yall aren't ready for Bailey lol
