Safety does not comes only with airbags, but the other factors like breaking, handling etc, also. Really looks like they played with numbers to show venue on higher side. While it's 1.2 L produce only 98 hp. 1

@@Abhishekmrx if you don't know GNCAP consider base variant of each car for their testing. Airbags mostly protect your head and fcw from collisions but rest of your body need a tough car.

@@2dayis2010 side crash test was also conducted with nexon after which it got 5 stars from 4 stars.. And irony is it got 5 stars without side airbags... Might be cars body is very strong but human's head is not in case of side impact, human could die of brain hemorrhage etc (logic) Toyota Yaris gives 7 airbags from base models... How a car can get 4 or 5 stars without side airbags..? Is it somewhere written that one will only meet an accident from front...thats why only 2 airbags..?

I really enjoyed watching how can people manipulate the reality...test drive a car yourself and then decide what fits best for your requirements....money is their requirement so they praise the one who pay them the most.

You should have taken into consideration about the ground clearance too. One of the most important features for Indian roads

Neveyo Vero These are sub compact SUVs. So their ground clearance will define be higher than any hatchback or sedan. So nothing to worry about that

Definitely not enough if you are driving in hilly regions and bad roads with lots of potholes. Even i20 active hatchback car actually has more ground clearance than some sub compact suv

My wife and I had TWO test drives of Brezza and Nexon topmost models. We found Brezza to be better in comforts and even with the ease of driving. The most important thing is that just sitting at the wheel of the Brezza, it really feels like a car. I don't give much importance to cosmetics. Even in looks, I found Nexon to be like a car that has been chopped off at the back. Nexon looks like a woman with big hips. I found Brezza to be looking more like a small Range Rover.

Well if you don't want certain categories to be deserving of being awarded points or to be not taken into consideration, subtract those categories and add up the rest of the points. Exclude the USB ports and bottle holders if you find charging phones and keeping yourself hydrated for a day night trip or long off roading is not important.

Everything about venue is just cosmetic.i took a test drive of venue and felt like I am sitting inside a small hatchback.even i20 feels better from inside. EcoSport is the best vehicle in this segment i feel. It really feels like a SUV in real sense.

I would completely agree with you if it was the petrol variants, but the TDCi? Not really. Especially considering the aspire, which costs half as much and has 10 more NMs of torque. I cannot wrap my head around that logic from ford.

Great effort to get into practicalities but the verdict n scores are half baked.. You say Venue rides n handles like an Ecosport n Nexon really!!? Impossible.. Every water bottle gets a point 🤣 Where are the points for build quality n fit n finish? Where are the points for service cost n maintanance cost? Do you know that a Tata/ Ford requires you to service their vehicle only once in a year as against 6 months schedule of Maruti/ Hyundai/ Mahindra? So double the cost of maintanance.. Where are the points for value for money!!? The biggest factor of all . Driveability is fine, what about performance n speed? Where's the point for it.. How is the most trubo lag Brezza getting 8 driveability points against super driveable Nexon's 8? Where are the points for NVH, gearshift quality, clutch friendliness?

Sir, when you can't play the game evenly, change the scoring parameters. If you have to prove Venue better car than Nexon, then definitely you will pick Bottle spaces, features which make you decide which car you buy. I have been driving for 20 years and have never met anyone who has bought the car which has more waterbottle spaces or charging points. People carry powerbanks as they can't carry cars everywhere and carry Milton bottles to keep water chilled and keep refilling. But that is why Venue is a better car than Nexon. #Pappushit

You know the review is trash when ecosport is given a lower score in handling than brezza and also nexon is the only vehicle which got 5 stars in ncap in this lineup yet it scored 7/10. Airbags=/= total safety. Various other parameters are taken like structural rigidity and crumble zones etc which is what define true safety along with airbags. Shame.

The problem here is that Indians are again being dazzled by slick adverts. Yes Nexon has 5 stars NCAP. But EcoSport, venue and xuv300 have safety features (ESP, TSC and HLA) that prevent crashes. It would be great if Tata can bring in a new top end variant that has more features.

Even if Tata builds a five star car with no brakes, some people are gonna keep bragging that it's the safest. That's how deluded they get with these star ratings.

One of the best comparisons I've ever come across. I own a Hyundai Venue. Although it scored best in the segment, there are many issues, which I think may be is just in my vehicle (Unfortunately). These being on the technical side, Hyundai have yet not been able to rectify. Other than those, everything is good.

The ford ecosport you are reviewing has 4 charging points and not 3(as mentioned in the video).Just check the right side corner of the passenger seat for the 4th one.

SUMMER SCOOPS probably he gave 7 because it only has 2 airbags but again it should’ve got 8 got its 5 star NCAP , this Rohit and also the latest zigwheels review in which they compare the diesel versions of xuv300 , ecosport and venue is even more funny because he says venue is fun to drive , next level comedy these channels are making !

Great video very entertaining and informative. Shows the strengths and weaknesses of every car. Personally I like the ecosport for its strengths mentioned in this video but I can understand why it didn't win overall.

Ecosport is best in handling, music quality is also second to none. only problem is creepy foot space in rear, i mean u cannot squeeze back ur foot bcz no space bellow rear seat. XUV has the most beautiful cabin... only high price is the dealbreaker.

Great comparison with multiple criteria. Just a thought, may be you can include headlamp focus and light throw as one of the criteria for future comparisons. That's an important parameter for safety at night.

Some of the scoring in this test is really strange and hard to understand on a reasonable basis. For example, see the waterbottle test from 11.20-12.20 in the video. Both Venue and Nexon can take 6 bottles as per Overdrive but Venue scores a 7 and Nexon only a 4! And, Venue and XUV300 are scored higher than Nexon on safety. Really? Just because they have additional airbags on the top trim option. But there is no evidence to show that overall impact on passenger safety, whereas Nexon is tested and certified to be NCAP 5 star rating. Just correctign these two mistakes places Nexon at the top of this comparison. Even if you consider water bottles to be as important as parameters like ride and handling and safety. So, was Overdrive just feeling a compulsive need to call the newer models better?

safest car of country has scored least in your comparision. Great work guys, your standard is so high. No one considers gadget friendlness and water bottle holding capacity while purchasing car. I purchsed NEXON only because of safety and comfort. Can live with low fuel economy but safest car tag gives peace of mind. Just watched 19 Minutes long advertisement of Hyundai Venue

It's a biased review to promote Hyundai venue.....you can observe it when they tried to skips the rear comfort part which is the important part and didn't stress on it more and also it was shot in the beginning of the video so they have ample time to do that......I went to Hyundai venue showroom to see the rear seat comfort....it fails miserably. Where as Nexon and XUV 300 shines there brilliantly. Also you can see that they were trying to highlight the venue even it has some serious shortcomings as per the compact SUV segment. GROWUP GUYS.....DONT DO BAISED REVIEW AND DONT BECOME LENGTHY ADS

@@manoja538 have you driven it for a long drive, it's petrol engine is puny, the steering is too light on high speeds, suspension is too soft, has less ground clearance. Car is small and feels small especially back seats. It's by no way a driver's car.

So according to overdrive Hyundai Venue has the same handling as Ford EcoSport....😂😂

Who needs gadgets when there drive and comfort matters most? Nexon and Ecosport are the better cars in this lot and everyone knows that. Only if Tata could get a bit more equipment and upgrades in the Nexon, it could be there up at best.

Weightages - Need to consider how important are features to a typical Indian mindset. Do not believe all of these params are at the same level. Great video - one of the best one's I have seen

Nice Review Overdrive. However, I guess you need to have a weighted score. Waterbottle's 10 point is not same as Breaking's 10 points. If some car scores breaking 9 and having waterbottle 4 should not loose to a car which scored breaking 7 and waterbottle 10 Thats an example. Following might be a good weights for the scores [ How much important this feature / view point is to a car ] Luggage - 6 Comfort - 7 Safety - 10 audio - 6 Gadget - 4 waterbottle - 2 parking - 6 [ or 8 in a city ] Fuel Economy - 9 Drivability - 8 Ride - 8 Handling - 8 [ Actually I see you can combine Drivability, Ride, Handling - But its ok to have it seperate also ] Breaking - 10 But what about prices ? Reliability ? Service centres ? Easy Parts ? - These plays a major role in buying !!! Overall, I enjoyed your review Request : Compare Upcoming Nissan Note vs its competitors in Indian market - Leave about the e-power thing. Just ride quality, comfort and things in this video

Nexon brakes the shortest n has a 5 star rating after collision! Makes it the best either ways!

Amazing comparison and quite a different way to review. However you could have included price that justfies all the points... One more thing..I don't understand you logic in safety. How come nexon is only 7 in safety when it got 5* rating. Other cars don't even have any rating at all. Do you think providing air bags is only safety with out shell integrity..I don't agree with this point... Your airbag logic is completely wrong...

You don't buy a car for how quickly it can be parked. Rather you buy a car and learn to park it quickly.

I would say the real winner based on scores is nexon . even with a score of 4 in bottle holding department, it scores 93 ,which indicates a good score in other important departments.

Nexon and EcoSport are close ..with Nexon edging out in space as is wider and much more roomier

Venue seriously??? It scored so low in the power department, we literally heard ull say 'cant carry 5 people with ease' and handling is also not up to the mark and still Venue is 95??? Go recheck!

Really cool review.... The reviews which are the need of the hour... Considering these are the points people are looking forward for their buying informarion.... Could be more interesting for the tech biased crowd if you could include more information like the suspension system, antiroll bars, hydraulic or electric steering, etc 😉

If removes water bottle test then nexon is the clear winner....nexon rocks..👍

If u are saying that a Hyundai or Suzuki is handling aur drive better than ford....then I can't say anything about this review....n fuel efficiency for deisel...if u want to fun drive than u have to compromise on it...but u r right because hyundai and Suzuki product can't provide fun drive so they could provide gud milege figure...by the way I am getting 16 kmpl + milege with my ecosport ecoboost with 50% city drive....

@@241085raj Hi, I have driven ecoboost more than 4000 kms and getting milege of 16 kmpl+...with 50% city drive(moderate to heavy traffic)...the experience so far is very gud...very good combination of performance, efficiency and safety....it's my first ford so can't comment about service cost but with ford promise I think it must be very reasonable....but the first service experience was very nice....overall satisfied with my purchase till now...
