@Bilal Firfiray my family/friends circle have ignis...so little bored of it,it's old also...this looks fresh, plus I want to try Hyundai (I've owned kia before, the new Korean cars are good)

Got it. Although built quality with 5star crash test of Punch but Hyundai 1.2 litter engine is more refined and time tested reliable engine. Engine is the heart of a car and everyone wants trouble free refined and economical engine. Let's wait for its launch and how it drives. From front Punch looks sharp and beautiful, but 3rd pillar and back make it like of Hatchback, whereas Exter looks conventional boxy design from all sides.

Cleverly explained.....Sure I'm gonna wait for EXTER

Between the Tata Punch and the Hyundai Exter, I would choose the Exter. What good is a beautiful body with a weak unrefined three cylinder heart! As for the C3 it is still a kid and unsure of the troubles it is going to face growing up.

Even I wanted to go for Exter but can't trust first batch cars whether it's volkwagen or maruti. On top of that i have a tight budget of 7, it was 6 but have accumulated after waiting a bit more . I visited hyundai dealership and they said it straightforward that hyundai doesn't make a lot of cars in base version. I will have to wait for more than 4 months and above after pre booking closes.

I find the design of Fronx much better than both of these. Also, the engine is a time tested 1.2 from Suzuki with great performance and mileage.

@@kostinarain7373 I am skipping exter simply because I don't trust first batch cars , And after enquiring with Hyundai showroom near my house the salesman nonchalantly said " sir ji hyundai will delay delivery of base model if you want to book no problem but they make very less cars of base variant ", I will get tata punch pure in a month, with around some discount on showroom accessories.

@Bilal Firfiray till now it has been very good, my dad had bought a sumo gold back in 2011, he says difference between then and now massive, before it was politics regarding sales figures of the dealership, but now it's customer centric, even nexa does manipulation, and Mahindras are sitting on their own heads because their cars are heavily booked

I am confused as to decide whether the Exter looks more ugly from the front or from the rear. But definitely it's going to challenge the Punch which is anyway not a value for money car as TATA have raised the prices a couple of times since its launch.

6:15......TATA's 5 star rust which no one wants to talk about 😅 recently all the tata car has been caught on fire which includes punch, harrier, safari, nexon etc...

Exter ground clearance is about 160 cm which is much lover than that of any of the other subcompact SUVs. So it is very unfair to compare it with Punch which is a sub 4m compact SUV with GNAP 5 safety rating. But I like Punch but do not like the service of local TATA dealer, so i will never book a TaTa Car unless i get a different service provider

@Bilal Firfiray Car maker's reputation is not enough, dealer service providers substandard quality of service is also important. Some of them are focussing of parts businesss, they are not even ready to raise the service issues for Car maker's expert advice as they are afraid of getting exposed in front of Car makers

@@CarWale Mostly due to maintenance cost of Hyundai. I have experienced that maintenance cost of Hyundai is much much higher than Tata and Maruti. In my long run i can't simply burn my cash in maintenance

People are buying TATA for safety not for Engines , all it takes is one real time crash followed by a youtube video to make customers choose PUNCH over any other micro SUV..........
