The Sun is alive. The proper & right way to start your day is to wake up before sunrise: be ready to give respect, gratefulness to The Sun, welcome & accept it into your day. If you wake up after sunrise you lost the day.

Wow, a polytheist. What makes you believe that? I could see polytheism becoming popular in ancient times, to explain the unexplainable nature of science (magic) but a polytheist during the 21st century???

There are many polytheists in the 21st century! I take the approach of science being humanity's way of figuring out how the gods operate/create things. Science and magic can co-exist!@@laurawalker3403

I got goosebumps for no reason when they started to sing. Ancient Egypt gives me a feeling I can't describe or explain, it's so familiar, I have this feeling with ancient Egypt since I was a little kid, it always fascinated me, when I saw a pyramid or something or I heard ancient Egyptian music it gave me that feeling, I still get this feeling, it's like I lived in ancient Egypt in my past life

That's because one of your past lives was during this time! That goes for all of you that has commented in this comment! But that is why it is so familiar! Also you probably traveled there many times when you lay your earth shell to recharge itself at night! Because you only need sleep to recharge the body itself and not you! So you don't just lay inside there twiddling your thumbs waiting. You astral project to other realms, parallels, and to past lives and lives to come!

We hindus worship sun god, his name in Sanskrit is "Adhitya" means "The beginner". We daily recite "Aditya hrudayam" (heart of sun hymn), that is in Ramayana, Lord Rama recited it to gain power to kill Ravana in war. There are also sun temples in India.

This is so beautiful!! My gorgeous old girl.. a beautiful 21 HUMAN YRS old, lovely long haired black cat Shadow and I had Covid-19 in February... (we can give it to our precious felines, as well as fellow humans) 😢 I felt like I was dying, Shadow nearly did.. but I discovered this and some other ancient Egyptian chants/hymns, and my sweet old girl went from needing to be carried to the kitty litter and lying in a blanket beside me taking TINY bits of food and water for over 2 MONTHS!! ..while listening to this every morning a new Sun came up, and before bed. She was transfixed by this, and the only time she mustered a purr, was during these moments. She found her inner BASTET and I'm delighted to say.... is now recovered and seems to have a new lease on life, playing like a kitten for hours (always between 2-6am!! 😂) but I don't care because she found a 10th LIFE.. at 20-21 yrs old!! I am so happy she will see her 21st (human yrs!!) B'day in November, when my daughter who's the mum of her childhood pet, turns 28! (I'm just Nanna/Grandma). 😂 This helped me so much too, along with needing to get out of bed to carry her, and get food/water for her..So managed to grab some for myself. If not for her, I don't think I'd of made it, but we are both here, with a new lease on life. You have something VERY special! I hope you realise how powerful this is, how powerful, you are!!!! Hi, this is not uncommon. Researchers have long believed that some people have something inside of them that ties them to one or more previous lives. In some it is far more intense with vivid memories and understanding of things they could not possibly know, in others it is more subdued. It is an instinctive thing not fully conscious however, certain things such as a sound, images or even a smell can act like a trigger. It can lead to a deep sense of longing, of being somehow detached from what we are and where we belong. I hope this makes sense. Blessings of Isis to you.

In Brazil there is a religion with many adherents called Kardecist Spiritism, which believes that Akhenaton was a spirit coming from another more evolved planet and that he incarnated in this pharaoh to bring monotheism earlier, he did not succeed, however, he influenced the Hebrews to solidify the monotheism that today is present all over the world. I believe that Aten and the God of the bible are the same God, the humans who made them look different.

∆aKhen∆htun (Akhenaten).. ..which means one who proclaims and sees (Aaakh, Akh) The Sun of suns. Ahtun is consonant with Ahtum ie Prime∆ll Crætor who gave rise to dual polar reality : masculine (gaseous void) and feminine (water). Exact same word for Soul, Indik and it's derivates including my name, ∆athMaa Singh which means Lion Soul (i have no first or last name - it is one name, two parts). Ps dual opposites sound a lot like first two lower elements right? 'Air' & 'Water'.

Do you happen to know of any videos where it is just read and not sung? Or even just the text of it in Egyptian?

The Egyptologist I do tours with helps me with pronunciation, so I do not know if there are videos out there with it just read. The name of the text is Hymn To The Aten and is attributed to Akhenaten as being the author. The text, transliteration and translation are in the video :)

Guys, Atenism is entirely different from Egyptian Mythology, and is basically made up by a pharaoh to get more power. What you’re seeing is a depiction of the pyramid, showing Aten (Basically a soul giving God) who’s the origin of creation, and is their ultimate Omni-being. It was illustrated this way so that people put their life’s meaning to the pharaoh. It was short-lived, but is still part of the country’s history. ☀️🏹 Pax Aten!

If you want to hear what the ancient Egyptians were singing listen to Coptic hymns. After St. Mark came into Egypt the words were adjusted since the Egyptians were now Christian but the melodies and instruments used remained.

Hello Erika, I was looking for a yt channel that creates ancient egyptian music and found yours! I am wondering if you would allow me to use the audio portion of the video " Hymn To The Aten (sung in Ancient Egyptian)". I'm trying to produce a fictional romance clip of Mark Antony and Cleopatra based somewhat on the piece written by William Shakespeare. This video is not commercial and not tied up to any products/services promotion. If you care to allow me for use, I would certainly give proper credit and also to promote your channel. Also if permission is given, maybe you could actually suggest a more appropriate audio background. Thanks, in anticipation of your support.

Since no record of genuine spoken Ancient Egyptian exists or what it may have sounded like (it's speakers being long dead an all)..I assume this is in the Coptic language? Which is the closest living language to what it might have sounded like.
