At first i wished i could have listened to this with a singer that sings in ancient greek. But then i forced myself to see the wider feeling, of embracing two beautiful cultures, and how much the music can unite us in the end, and create something absolutelly magical. This was beautiful - Ancient Greek? Like someone said a Sappho this lady is....singing came fro the soul - people would sit and feel healed... Greek, Arab, Asian all music is made from beat. It's the only thing that can cross barriers and unite without causing a war - I think this was quite healing 🎉❤

I have a theory, which I am sure is not unique, but I think all of time is happening at once. We aren't too far ahead of the ancients. We still have the ability to connect to the past.

I've listened to this piece like 10 billion times and I am enraptured by it every single time. Simplicity, complexity, and absolute beauty from each of the musicians. Now if only I could get these three to play together and create an array of albums and then come to Australia to play live, my life would be perfect! This music connects with the instinct that recognises music and sound as an integral, irreplacable part of life. The performance evokes a sense of serenity, among other things I don't know how to describe. Some of the vocalisation techniques Ms Rui Fu uses here, especially in the beginning, sound very similar to some vocalisation techniques used in Indian classical music. I find it fascinating, it gives a sense of familiarity to me

Да, потому что он не украинский! :) Руй Фу использует свой голос скорее как музыкальный инструмент, импровизируя со звуками, но не с настоящими словами.
