I believe THIS is why sometimes hyenas (plus lions and in other countries, wolves, bears etc.) eat their food when it is sometimes still alive? They have to eat so very quickly or it gets stolen! It's not a decision, just an instinct, eat now or maybe not for days!?

Hyena saw something dropping and probably knew that the male leopard was happy with the carcass and would not mind if something falls. But the hyena and female leopard should have stayed together vs the male leopard.

You seem more disgusted at that then anything, and fair enough it is sad to see. But no need to attach that to the commentator and completely paint him in such a negative and biased way because of how you view what's happening in the video.

Tristan is the best, he's an awesome guide there. This was pretty exciting when it happened, and we watched it all play out live on 'Safari Live' on utube or F.B. Leopards don't normally like being around other leopards, like at all, but these 3 are funny. The sister and dad always steal food from Hosana. Lol.

The power of that cat is unbelievable. It isn't easy for me to get a dressed deer carcass from the woods to my truck unless I'm on a 4 wheeler. And that's on flat ground. That cat just hauled the carcass up a tree, using nothing but his mouth to hold it, in less than 2 seconds. Unreal.
