Sitting here in bed, under the covers, because I have the AC turned down low watching this video on my iphone, while the DVR is paused, wondering if I want chicken fajitas or steak fajitas for supper. Always wishing I had some thing else or more. This video is super powerful and a REAL eye-opener. We take SO much for granted. We have it made, and don’t even realize it. Exactly. What makes more sense to you, that are an accident of natural selection and came from these animals? Or that we are a divine creation made in the image of the Creator and that is why we are capable of doing all the things that we have done? By way? Lucy was proven to be a fallacy, yet hollywierd is still pushing this lie. And anything with the word theory before it is not been proved and therefore NOT A FACT. Humanity has become so brainwashed by the so called “Experts” that are bought and paid for by those who really rule this world. Think about how these experts have avoided questions such as how copper chisels allegedly cut blocks of stone almost as hard as diamonds and with such precision that we cannot duplicate it today, let alone even move the blocks to begin with.

This was really quite beautiful. Obviously there's a need to draw the dots between large periods of time in our history without anything other than small fragments of evidence. There was also a need to truncate large passages of time for the sake of pacing. But on balance it captured the way in which humanity has come to be in an authentic and plausible way. I felt connected to the humans in this film and to our shared participation in the journey of humanity. Credit to the film makers. Life - what a bloody mystery and a miracle.

This is one of the best if not the best documentary on man I have seen today. Wish I would of found it earlier.

I assume this documentary is about 25 years old now, it would be fantastic to have a remake with the current scientific understandings that H sapiens and neanderthal were merely subspecies of H erectus (along with H denisovin and probably H. Heidelbergensis ) and unions led not just to offspring but fertile offspring. It's also now believed that dogs evolved at least 20 thousand years ago.

It was one of the most beautiful, best and most complete documentaries I have seen, seeing our ancestors at that time and the hardships they faced, what problems they faced and the pure inventions they had with those meager facilities, really human.

No, Bible thumpers be that way. The other ‘creationists’ as you called em understand that there is absolutely a ‘missing link’ between Homo erectus and homo sapien sapien. Well, it’s not missing but mainstream academia would have you Believe that. No way we evolved from what this video shows as homo erectus to what we are now in just 400k years and truth be told, the change occurred only 200-250k years ago. Do not forget to thank each other, at our population size as well as differences of ones own histories that for the most part we do come together and protect our progress as individuals and cultures. Of course there will always be those individuals that must do a "look at me" dance in times of crisis remember in our nature those who walk loudly are extinguished. For most it is in the sense of survival for all and to defend the future for those not even born, that is truly an amazing story.

I LOVE THE WAY GUYS figure everything out.. Dress...Joy. ...discovery...food. fire...afterlife...

I saw another doc that talked about how the toumai began to understand death. These docs are largely speculation masquerading as knowledge. Take em with a grain of salt and if truly interested check out the content from actual anthropologists.

To się dopiero nazywa nauka!!!!! - zrekonstruowali "Człowieka Pekińskiego" z pomieszanych szczątków małpy i człowieka. "Człowieka z Nebraski" z zaledwie jednego zęba - i to zęba dzikiej świni. A reszta ich dowodów na ewolucję jest jeszcze bardziej szarlatańska i błazeńska.
