the theme of the show is related to sports specifically running as the name of the show is RUNext. It's kinda clear in the teasers and the first ep with the medal (rank) system, the intro of the different rounds (it was shown on hurdles on a running track), there is also a running track surrounding the stage and the locker room is kinda like what athletes have. oh i didn’t watch the teasers so i had no clue but this makes so much sense !! i feel stupid now bc after seeing the locke rooms i was like gym class in high school 😂😭 thank youu so much 💗💗

i think the theme is like sport or running or something. Coz they had those hurdles representing the rounds and the show's acronym is RUN. Also, there was the changeroom and the big gymnasium room which is kinda sport/active related.

The judges judgment was definitely lacking for some of their judgments

I thought i was the only one thinking like this. Some girls perfomed better but i was shocked by the feedback. Like the judges arent adressing the issues that the girls should work on and some are being praised when they are not supposed to. The whole show is off-putting coz right now audience are voting based on popularity.

Yes, the vocals sound so heavy edited and we almost didn't hear live, normal vocals except for the pre-performance of Red Velvet Song

I knew there was something off about their vocals because these were way too clear compared to other survival demo stages. Even the best have off moments when singing live

There was this video that "Kpop Groups in 2033 be like..." And the imaginary group was called "Baby Infants" and the imaginary members were toddlers and babies and now I see it coming after hearing that there are 12 yr olds in R U Next....

I saw that! 😂 The maknae's PC was an ultrasound (or something like that).

The reason some good ones land in low level is to balance out each tier. Cause now low levels have a center material (jeemin) a main vocalist (jiwoo) and a mood maker (moa). That way the tiers are kind of balanced out. The high level tier too has weak vocalists (soeyeon & iris) with center materials (yunah & Yeongseo).

From the one clip I saw prior I knew they weren't really singing live much

I can't with these baby idols, there has been so much research on how terrible it is to be a child in the public eye as a performer. I was hoping hybe would have only older people on this show but ofc they helped make newjeans so why am I surprised

Thankfully it seems clear the 12 yo is not ready for debut, so I don't think her chances of getting through are high.

The way the age 12 is not even considered a teenager makes it worse than it already is.

These 2 episode were the least interesting among all the survival shows I've ever watched iland was my favorite survival show but I just don't like this one I did not find the concept nor trainees interesting
